It was a great feeling to be able to log on to pokerstars.com today. I felt like I was home.

I was surprise that we are now allow to log on to that site, even tho one had to acknowledge that it was illegal for USA peeps to make deposits of withdrawals.

I had a little bit of humor while on the site, I registered for a .02 cent game, and was told that there was insufficient funds in my account to play. A fact that I was well aware of, since PS paid me off after Black Friday. And, of course my account was now zero.

But, play money still has almost 10,000,000. So, played a little and won 20,000 at the 100/200 rings and then left table.

What I want to do now is figure out how to get some one on PS to transfer $10.00 into my account. And, let me play them either by paypal or transfer from another account. like Fullflush or ACR or BOL.

Hey Mange, nice that you can play on pokerstars' play money again! :)
If a deposit/widrawal is ilegal and not possible, i think a player 2 player transfer is also not possible. And how are you able to widraw funds if you win something? Did i miss something or did some policy changed for USA players on pokerstars?

I was thinking that I would play and "if I win" I would leave the funds in the PS account until it becomes legal in USA and then cash our. If it noes not become legal, I am out a few bucks.

I only tend to play the small games.

Not to brag, but I always win on PS, because I can chose the games when and what I want to play.

Before Black Firday, I had won several thousand dollars on PS by that method.

I suspect, eventually., that it will be legal in some point in time.

I did not have to open a new account, just log in to my old account. which was still in place.

We can always log on a play the play money games on PokerStars.net. No problem. I was surprised that it was possible to log on to pokerstars.com. Use to be, a FBI dropdown page would appear to say site could not be logged on to by USA.

Hey PokerFunKid,

After rereading your reply, you may be correct. If PS does not allow player to player transfer, I am born dead. Will have to go back to the drawing board.

I am not sure that is a fact of PS player to player transfer. But, will check it out. I do know that some sites don't allow player to player transfers.

But, this is just a hobby for me and not a biggie. It gives me a chance to solve obstacles and problems on the Web.

At present, I have discovered how to change IP addresses to a foreign country, and several other things of interest.

I am not doing this to be a crook, just for fun. What would it be called. One of the good hackers. lol

Thanks for taking time to answer. Some times on CC it is difficult to get peeps to read or answer blogs. Like yelling into a storm. haha

Just be careful;) I wouldn't even try the false ip method. If you get caught (and there's a very good chance you will) they will lock your account. If they get back into the US market you won't be able to play there.

Not worth the risk.

I'm an American living abroad and I get your frustration over not having the liberty to play where you want. I highly suggest you wait it out and don't use 3rd party programs to manipulate your ip . Plus i don't think this is a thing moderators are going to approve of being spoken about on these forums.

Everyone wants Stars back, but from what I hear the games are so tough, I'm not sure you guys are going to end up liking it. I wouldn't be surprised if the games are 5 years ahead of where U.S. players are. People are actually moving in this region to play on soft sites like Bovada. Poker is slowly dieing.
