Locked out of William Hill Account: Help me!

william hill has locked me out of my account after 2 months of fighting with them 30+ emails 2 picture ids and half a dozen utility bills bank statements and tax notices sent in 3 different formats they are now demanding another format is there any governing body of some sort I can can contact to help get this resolved . I would appreciate any help and STAY AWAY FROM WILLIAM HILL POKER . Thanks in advance for any help as I am at the end of my rope

Joined William Hill poker made a deposit played 2 games and the next day I was locked out and have been fighting with them for 2 months I have supplied them with 3 different photo ids utility bills bank statment and tax bill , in 3 different formates now they are demanding yet another format is there any governing body that I can go to as I am at the end of my rope and simply dont know what else to do Thanks for any help . AND DONT SIGN UP TO WILLIAM HILL POKER . THEY ARE NOTHING BUT THIEVES ,

What you did to get your account locked? What they say was the reason to lock your account?

Seems like they are jerking your chain.

I don't know the reason why they locked it, but sending the info and meeting those requirements seems odd to me that they would still lock it without saying wyy

Do you have multiple accounts there? Can you provide a copy of the emails you have received? (Remove your personal info before posting.)

no I only have one account no reason given for locking me out other than for security reasons and each time I supply what they have asked for they cange the format , 1st they wanted picture id and utility bills 2nd they wanted them taken with a camera 3rd they said they needed to see the borders 4th they wanted them taken with me holding them and now they've said my manitoba goverment id is no good I simply dont know what else to do and would appreciate any help

That sounds a little bizarre. Is there anyone in your household that also has a William Hill account, or has anyone ever used your computer to play on their account?

you can find who licensed them at their web site, if you think that you havent offended TaC you should e mail them
William Hill is licensed by the Government of Gibraltar and regulated by the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner.

no one has ever used my computer nore any one from this address has ever had anything to do with them , I have sent some stongly worded e mails but no swearing or calling of names nothing unreasonable for what they are putting me through . Is there any way to contact the gibralter regestrar or do you think trying to find a different email for william hill poker would be worthwhile .

I would try calling them. I found this phone number for them: Phone: 00 800 3551 3551

Sometimes it is easier to contact someone and tell them directly the issue you are having, rather than communicating through chat or email. Just be sure to be calm and courteous when you call, of course.

I ve sent them yet another piece of id , waiting for a reply if it is negative then I will try calling if that doesnt work I think I will put the whole thing on a flash drive and take it to the RCMP let them send it to their fraud divison dont know what else to do . Thanks for your help I ll let you know how it turns out . but I certainly wont be playing there or any of their other sites . WILLIAM HILL SUCKS

8 days since I sent the last info I have sent 2 emails requesting an update and I am now being ignored WILLIAM HILL ARE THIEVES

They requested the EXACT same thing from me & each time I sent in what they'd requested they came back with a new request. This didn't happen two days after opening an account on there though... it happened the first time I attempted to make a withdrawal. This isn't the only iPoker network site that did this to me.

I've had good experiences with williamhill support staff ever since.... although it wasn't until I was given a VIP support address & was able to correspond with the manager there (on a different issue... a software glitch that was happening to just some of the players on there a couple years ago). Would be nice if they had a representative on the poker forums (they used to).


I've played on a half dozen different iPoker network pokersites & WilliamHill is my preferred choice of all of them.

Well miracles do happen after 2 + months and 38 emails with still no reason given for my lockout I HAVE ACCESS which I promptly used to withdraw my funds . This was no software glitch I did not try to withdraw only to play , this was plain and simply entertainment for them I will not now or ever play on their site . Thanks to the people who tried to help but beware I would have never believed that it was possible to keep someones money for that length of time with no indication of what the problem was . I was a bit worried after reading this but still went and opened an account there and made a small deposit.

I played for a few days and made a withdrawal request, which failed due to age verification.

Support quickly answered my email on this issue and soon I emailed them scans of my passport and birth certificate. They asked for only one of those but I sent both just to be sure.

Next day my account was verified and I withdrew funds (exact amount I deposited originally, left the profits on the account) with zero problems. I used skrill for both deposit and withdrawal.

Reason for posting this is to balance the thread with another, more positive case. Maybe it helps someone.

The room itself could use some improvement of the poker client but micro Speed games are absurdly soft and traffic is actually decent.
