Lock poker any good?

Is LockPoker a good site? I'm thinking about making a deposit so that i will be able to play the cardschat freeroll on there, but I heard some people say that it took them several months to get their money out.

Well I lost all my money there and now only play the freerolls. A lot of people complain about the payout.

Yeah, kinda what I'm worried about. Hopefully someone else can give some more input.

Cashouts for US players on Lock:

checks > 3 months
cash transfers > 2 months

Most disturbingly, cashouts to non-USA players > 2 months


There are a number of operators (other skins) on the Revolution Network who claim Lock owes them months of back payments as well. The overall picture of Lock's liquidity is not a rosy one at this time.

Dont play on Lock and wont any time soon.

Basically cash outs are a major hazzle for both US(understandably given the legal situation in the US) and international players(more worrying because there is no legal loop holes needed to jump through to cash out).
People seems to get there money eventually(so far) but like Kahn said above its taking 2-3months minimum which raises a lot of questions.

Also, like Kahn said. There has been some rumours/accusation(just to clarify, so far thats all that it is rumours, nothing concrete has come out afk) from the Revolution Network and other skins that Lock owes them licenses fees going back a few months.

All that raises a lot of questions about the financial situations of Lock and might indicate they are about to fold/do a runner.

So yeah I wouldnt recommend Lock poker. But its obvs up to you to decide for you if the risks are worth the rewards.

Avoid if you enjoy having money to spend

It would be great if someone from Cardchat admin would respond to this thread as they are soliciting members. I downloaded the software through our (CC) link and am considering making a deposit, so any advice would be GREAT!!! Not trying to start trouble, just practicing bankroll management!!

To be honest if you want to wait a while for cashouts i would say play on Lock. They do offer good tournies. But like i said the cashouts are awful. But if you live outside of USA you have a much better option of poker to play at

I would not recommend playing at Lock. They have a lot of problems with there cash outs.

Hmm well this was my next option after playing on Carbon... what else is there? time to read

Carbon has good freerolls and promotions.

CashOuts - will come but are currently painfully slow.

Bovada - maybe an additional choice to consider.

thanks man, sadly i finished top 200th. payout was 108 so disappointing lol.

time to try and win a seat again hopefully.

It seems as if lock payouts, at least the WU option, has been getting slower and slower now.So it is hard to recommend, playing there at the moment.Some people are waiting over 3 months and longer right now to get their money..Us USA players don't have all that many choices,i guess bovada and BCP another option now too.Also carbon. GL wherever you decide to deposit and play!

i was about to open from cc link also because i am running so bad on bovada wanted another site to play i would also like to here from someone from the staff here to help me decide because from what i just read from these responses sounds like maybe no

I play here solely because I made a big cash in a cardschat freeroll. My roll is steadily increasing so I hope I can get the money

Cards chat promotes the site so I'm guessing they are getting paid their affiliate money, so I think it's just up to whether or not you want to take the risk. I wouldn't bother making a deposit on there since Carbon, Bovada and Blackchip seem to be better options. Best of luck whatever you do

lock seems pretty risky to play on. it does have rakeback, but the fact that it takes a long time to get paid a withdrawal is not good. be careful everyone

Lock is a joke! My last wu took 70 days. intertops is by far the best skin on the revolution network. 1-5 day cash outs and amazing support.
