DO NOT PLAY ON LOCK POKER! Not only have they stolen money from me (randomly just had 250 dollars missing from my account and they won't give it back to me), the site is a complete joke. I'm sure most of you have tried it already and come to the same conclusion...but if you haven't don't even bother wasting your time. Every tournament is a donk fest, there cashouts take forever (that is even if you get your money). The structures are terrible, every tourney is like 5 minute levels. All the prize pools are a joke. $20 buy-in is only like $1,000-2,000 guaranteed prize pool....just a waste of time. PLEASE COME BACK pokerstars!!!!

I play at Lock poker, I don't have any problem with it. Tourney are good, Structure seem decent to me. Maybe they have some little problems like some bugs, but overall it plays ok. If you're missing money from your account just contact lock support or get at a rep from 2plus2, they will help you out.

Does anyone know if Lock is still offering a version for Mac since their latest move to Revolution Network?

I have contacted them multiple times. They have admitted they do not know how $250 went missing from my account yet they will not reimburse me. My money went missing when they made the switch over to Revolution. Not only that, the site really is rigged. It's not rigged for any one person in particular, however, at least 90% of time on all-in showdowns the bigger stack will win regardless if they have the best hand or not pre-flop. They do this to expedite the tournament so it doesn't drag on forever with small stacks waiting for big hands, pushing all-in and doubling up. You see 1-2 outers hitting with regularity. It's just not an honest site, and ever since the switch over to Revolution the number of players online has dropped considerably. This makes the tournaments a waste of time. Whats the point of dropping 20 bucks (or more) on a tournament and playing for 5-6 hours with only the chance to win a few hundred dollars? Waste of time IMHO.

I'm over merge, and didn't have the best experiences with Cake. Does anyone feel Lock is a noticeable upgrade from Cake despite being on the same Network.

I think it is time for this thread to be merged....

Lock Poker

I had money go missing and, somehow, it wound up in the Casino instead of the poker.

I honestly do not believe that a poker site has the ability to do this (fraud against certain players).

Several times Pokerstars has also been accused of this same procedure to favor the big stackes, but nothing has been proven ..

Play on New Lock

:( I DO NOT like the new Lock!! The notes are hard to read, there is a problem with player chat not working, the tags are so very limited in nature, and the a 10 person table looks ugly and crowded!! It also shows your city, which I do not appreciate and there is no way to hide it. I cannot mark people as friends, enemies or much in between. I can't find the extension timer at all. Worst of all, I can't see how much money I have at the top level screen. The Mac version is a cobbled-up shell over the pc system and is so sad.

I rate this a 1 and the new Merge system a 10 on a comparative basis. Functionally, it seems 3 steps backwards from where they were! I am off to Carbon and BetonLine!!

I see small stacks as well come back and win plenty of times, so dont know if thats true, it supposed to be random, they do have independent audits done so I guess any site will always get criticism no matter what, hopefully they are doing the right thing, it would be in their best interest business wise and will allow loyal players.

Awesome Gratss!

@OP GamerBoy

I personally Love and hate Lock, has it's ups and downs that is for sure. As for cashouts here in canada they are off to me in a week. Pokerstars I get in like 3 hrs

Cake about 4 days.

party poker, wish I could cash out for once in my life.

bodog very fast also about 4-6 days to skrill.

I don't understand why USA vs Canada cashouts could make a difference in time....?

Why is USA always sitting at the back of the bus?

Curious

But yea PM ShaneLock rep on 2+2 dont over pm or over email span them they will just bump you down the priority list. Be patient and you will get everything sorted out.

It is bad but yea they like to keep the constant players whom email over and over and pm over and over waiting, you bug them they bug you buy ignoring you. Simple game.

Send them one email one PM, and sit and wait for a week.

I can guarantee you will get sorted out if you do this.

I would be first confirming that GerryPolt is indeed working for Lock Poker. I see he was only an affiliate for Lock in the past. For some reason I can not determine, he was banned at 2+2 without making a single post (edit: he made several posts which were all deleted), which points to some type of multiple account and other wrongdoing. I can find nothing online that identifies him as a representative of Lock Poker.

In the meantime, do not be sending him your poker account email please.

I understand you being skeptical (which I have no problem with). But I was banned from 2+2 many years ago for spamming when I first started out as an affiliate. Hope this explains the banning.

But if you want verification please email me at gerry@lockpoker.eu and I can reply confirming this user gerrypolt to that email. This might relieve some doubt.

But just to be clear I do not work in the support department at lock poker, and if you want to be on the safe side you can contact lock at support@lockpoker.eu.

I work as an Affiliate Manager at Lock and deal with affiliate problems. However, if something is important I can try and get the process speeded up or get your problem to the right people.

But please email me so I can confirm I work with lock.

Thanks
Gerry

thank you Gerry

With so many strange people trying to do all sorts of sorted things I am glad you understand. I wish you the best at CardsChat and it is nice of you to try to lend a hand. It is too bad so many people are trying to do harm to others online and you have to be on your toes.

Lock is a joke

I have now been waiting 6 months for a Lock withdrawal. They have replied to 5 of my emails so far with "we are diligently processing your cashout" which would be funny if it wasn't my money they are holding. The best is that their form email promotes their site AND quick cashouts. :banghead:

Have you tried calling them? I requested a withdrawel the other day and in my email I was given a number to call if I had any questions.
