I recently have run my BR on stars pretty low so I'm holding off on playing cash games. So I thought I would use my FPPs to play the 10 FPP MTT they run. Anyways, I played a few and I wanted to play one more but was a few points short.

So I sent them this email..

I was wondering If you could send me 4 FPPs, I'm that many short to play in a 10 FPP MTT. I have 6 points right now and I would like to play in the tourney tonight.

It would make me very happy If you guys could do this for me.

Thanks a lot,

I get a response under an hour later....

Hello Brian,

Thank you for your email.

As per your request I have credited 4 fpp to your account. Please
understand that these FPP are considered a loan and when you accrue more
FPP we expect you to write to us and repay this credit.

If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to ask and I
wish you the best of luck at the tables.

Regards,

TomB

So it makes me wonder, can you get a money loan from them? I've heard of people losing their account because they "owe" Pokerstars.

Anyone heard of something like this?

I doubt very seriously they would loan money. FPP's are a bit different. If somebody owes them money it is likely to involve a deposit that never went through.

Try and repay the 4 fpp's asap. Once you have done so, leave it for about a week and then move onto phase 2.
Phase 2 would involve asking them for a loan of say, $400. :D

Seriously though, I'm kinda surprised you would ask them for such a loan, that said, it was very good of them to actually fulfill your request.

I wonder if they charge interest on FPP loans. Like you borrowed 4 and need to repay 5 or something. LOL

I would send them an email back saying that their request has been sent on to the department that handles such requests and they will get to it asap.;)

Haha. What does 4 FPP convert to in real dollars? I doubt they're keeping tabs on you.

Nope. They write it off as a toxic debt asset and apply to the US Gov't for an FPP Bailout !!! ... :D

Very nice indeed. I'd repay Stars once you get enough FPPs though - that's good karma, and we can all use some of that on tables from time to time, right?:)

HAHA. Yea that is very surprising that P stars would do this for you. When i first read the title of this thread I thought they gave you $5 which they give to some new accounts.

I think I'm going to e-mail them tonight and ask them this:

"Hello, I am currently 999,999 points away from Supernova Elite status. Could you please loan me the points so I can purchase 1,000 of the PokerStars Monkey's plush toys...."
