I played in a live tournament last weekend after a string of bad luck in previous ones. There were only 17 entries at $50 a piece and most of the competition was from the limit tables (heh heh). Anyways, I was down to one chip and make a boat with pocket 7s to triple up. Then I got aces with 2 all-ins (AK and QQ) in front of me to triple up again. From there I played tight aggressive play and won. The heads up was unbelievably easy when I got A10 and AJ my last 2 hands. The casino added $400 to the prize pool and I won $580 for first place. My experience was fun, but it has shown me how ridiculously different online poker is form live action. My success in person is much smaller than online.

Congrats! Always nice to come back from a short stack, nevermind to win the whole thing :)

Nice job! Always a good feeling to come back and win it all! FYI--I'm moving this to the "Playing Poker" forum. :)

Very nice come back. Took that "chip and a chair" thing literally I see. Great job. Most people get so frustrated in a situation like that, but it sounds like you kept your head about you, got some decent starting hands, and played solid poker. That's what it's all about.
