Yeah, there's a local company that runs "charitable game nights" at local VFW's & such 3-4 days a week. Their website is cbuspoker.com, it's got listings of where they'll be on any given week. There are a few decent players but a lot of fish too. They generally run 200NL, 3/6 limit, 10/20 limit, a $40 tourney & a $150+ tourney. I've heard of the Gemini Players Club before, but never checked it out because it seems kind of shady. It basically sounds like an illegal cardroom, but they advertise in the paper, so I dunno. I'll stick with CbusPoker which is totally legal according to Ohio
's charitable gaming laws (which are incredibly strict). I don't get out as often as I'd like though, drop me a line if you plan on hitting one, maybe I'll come by.
