BestBet poker room in Jacksonville pays out 500 to the highest hand every 15 minutes. The rules are you may use the flop turn and river for holdem to make your high hand, and in PLO you must hit your high hand only using the flop. My question is which do you think is more likely to hit the high hand?

Do you need to use both your cards in holdem to be considered for the high hand?

Also by "highest hand" I assume their are hands defined as "high hands" that are considered, like quads or straight flush or royal flush etc?

There will certainly be a lot more holdem hands run vs plo hands in the same time frame, even if they had the same # of tables and players but will probably have a high portion of the plo players going at least to the flop if they hold possibilities for the high hand so meh who knows which think it could go in either equally...... depending on what exactly the "highest hand" means.

In holdem u need use 2 cards for highest hand, and u have 5 cards in bord. 5+2=7. In PLO u have 4 cards and 3 on a bord. 4+3=7.
7=7
50% chance

You assume correct bluffmeallin. The winning hand is usually between aces or kings full to quads and sometimes straight flushes. I'm actually not sure if you have to play both cards, one card, or even play the board in NLHE. Ill ask next time I go.

That makes sense Evgeniy_K, thanks for the info. So in conclusion, the fact that you see way more flops then you do rivers, plo would be the best chance to win a high hand
