Which Tri-State would that be (NY,NJ,PA or IN,IL,OH or ??) Looked at your profile but couldn't see what state you're in.

Good question. Out of an habit, I'm used to see Tri-State as the following NY, NJ + CT.

Thanks!

Well NY, NJ, CT hits a lot of casinos, all the Indian ones in NY & CT, AC ones in NJ and then there will be a lot of local card clubs in different places. I'd search the forum for any casino reviews members have posted.

Well, Foxwoods has a HUGE poker room, 100+ tables I believe. The S&Gs start at 10AM or so, and they have MTTs daily. The buyins are higher than I'm prepared to pay. Also, when big tournaments are coming up, they have some pretty decent and affordable satellites.

Mohegan Sun will have a REAL poker room when their new Casino is built. For now they have some electronic poker tables. I saw a 1/2 NL ring game playing on a table and I know they also have some S&Gs, but there wasn't one running when I was there. They also had a few heads up tables but they weren't being used at the time. If I had known about the 1/2 NL game I would have played; however, I was on my way out of the casino when I saw it.

Ok, thanks. I'm also aware that Atlantic City casinos also have Poker tournaments.

Any others ? What about other casinos within the NY, NJ and CT area ? Do they also provide Poker tournaments ?

Also, which one would you say is the closet to NYC / LI ?

Thanks again !
