Fantastic, and thankyou Nick for the link on the homepage to vcpoker.com. For those of you who haven't played there yet, I can only say get yourselves over there right away and download it, as it's a fantastic site. Cheap sng's(the cheapest being 10cents), lots of different games, great tourneys, and the graphics and gameplay are real sweet. I'm only bigging it up as this is my favourite site out of the 15+ I've downloaded, and this is the one I always come back to. by the way, my username over there is the same as on here, Kerouacsdog, so come over and play a game or two. (I reckon I should be paid for this plug!)

I've previously done a tour of duty there - the graphics are great, not to keen on the 2,000 starting chips, but it's a good site. The main drawback is that the level of play is very high - VCPoker sponsor a lot of the Poker Magazines in the UK.

Oh, I remember the REAL main drawback - the reason I withdrew from there. The bet slider is ridiculously overcomplicated, and every bet you make isn't a bet at all, it's a raise. I was frequently overbetting, and never got comfortable with it, so gave up.

I've just signed with these guys, playing a few MTT and NL cash games. The graphics are great but Rob, you're spot on, the betting slider is ridiculous. Everything is a raise and it's difficult to get the right amounts. I've ended up going all-in instead of betting the pot and other mistakes like that.

Can't you just type in the amount of your raises, rather than use the slider?

Oh yeah, a little tip for when you're playing at victor chandler(it might well happen on other sites as well): from time to time the cashier page will crash, or some other similiar software problem. They normally sort it out within 10 to 20 minutes, but because of the problem, they normally announce a real nice freeroll to keep everyone happy like a $2000 prize freeroll for 5 action points or something like that. So keep an eye on the MTT page whenever the system goes down temporarily, as these freerolls get filled up pretty quick!
