I'm close enough to go take a look, is it something you have to play onsite?
Are you face to face with your opponents, or maybe sitting at one end of the bar with opponent sitting in another room?

yea you play on site

ok imma try to explain... theres a regular size poker table seating ten players, each player has an individual monitor in front of them and in the middle is a huge board moniter...

you get dealt your hole cards face down on ur individual monitors and to see them jus cover the cards and press on the touch screen near the cards... the cards will then peel up showing you your hole cards... once you stop touching the cards on your screen the cards go back to the face down position... wen it becomes ur turn to act a number pad shows up for you to bet, check, fold, etc... then in the middle board monitor you will see the community cards flop...

on your individual screen it shows chip position ur stack as well as a timer for wen the blinds will go up...

if you like fast paced action poker try it out :D

Test unit maybe??

Would save the casino money. Think about it, you pay a dealer so much an hour plus tips, you purchase one of these units and it will pay its self off and you won't have to pay the dealer...Basically you take the rake or the fee and save money.

I like the design and its a sweet concept, however I really hope they don't start using this to replace dealers.

I wonder how easy it is to hide your cards on that monitor, and what if you touch it not meaning to and your cards flop over and the next person see's it.

Pretty sweet though I'd like to try it.

crummy - its really easy to hide the cards since they peel up not flop showing you the coners of the card where it has the suit and value :D and as long as ur hands arent on the monitor it should be really hard for someone to peek at ur cards

juiceeQ - yup it is~! except i cant play in my boxers and u can actually look at the players playing :D

i would love to see if we could get 10 SoCal cc'ers out there to do a cc $40 lightning sit and go :D
