I have always found that if you have just won a big hand at ultimate bet, it is best to just leave the table and take the money. When i have not left the table i always run into a series of bad cards or extreme bad luck with good cards. Anyone agree?

Unfortunatly, I suffer the same fate. It's just 'Oh lets just see 1 more hand', and then wind up where I started or worse

I've notice the same thing on partypoker. Between UltimateBet and PartyPoker after a particularly good winning hand I found that I do better if I play the next couple of hands supper tight.

I would have to agree and disagree. I have been both ways that i win big and then several hands after that are good "on a roll" and i have had it the other way around. I do find that however if i dont get a good hand within the next two or three i usually leave and have better cards else where.

Against good opponents you won't usually string together winning hands. I hang around when I am on a run till I miss a hand then I take a break and hit the bank. Now if you are down, have been playing for sometime, then hit a hand that gets you close to even walk! It is not really about bad cards its about controlling your emotions. You know you have taken a step forward when you can walk away down but with some of your bankroll left to fight another day. If you ever get that "suicide" feeling where you just say screw it LEAVE right then and kick the cat really hard, or you could just have a drink relax.

I agree with you on that. and if you find your self at one of these tables were there are alot of good players and you can stay close to even or get way ahead it is time to leave the table.

if you are at a table you can beat...why would you leave. There is a solution to getting bad cards. There is a little button that says "fold." Depress the button when you think you have cards that you can not win with.

If you are way ahead at a table STAY THERE. You can obviously win there, as evidenced by your large stack. Don't leave just keep milking it. Finding a table you can beat consistently is a dream come true, so now you are ahead and you want to leave? What?

Just tighten up a little if you get paranoid! Nothing wrong with hitting the fold button. It takes a bigger man/woman to fold then to chase a flush or straight draw. Just don't get all loose and turn into a call station because you won a hand and have a decent stack. You will find your stack getting smaller and smaller! "He who has tight cheeks can make diamonds out of coal" lol!

i often see a lucky streak on UB where you win 4 hands in 10 hands dealt then after that you have to wait an hour to start winning again cause when your dealt great cards nothing hits. Sometimes it's nice to just leave the table and sit your azz down at another one. seems to work. but again, who can proves that online poker is really random ?
