The League Freerolls on Pokerstars

I realize beggars cannot be choosy but I am just wondering why pokerstars only provides a $10 pot for their elementary league but the high school and university leagues have a $20 pot each. As a player who can only play in the elementary league I try just as hard if not more to win and get to the money. I probably try harder so I can get to the high school and eventually to the university league. I am surprised as to why no one from the university league has not mentioned as to the pot size being the same as the high school league.

It is probably only me who is questioning this difference. We are all trying hard to better ourselves no matter what level we are playing at.

Just a thought that came to me when I noticed the different levels.

The league have thousands of players from all around the world.Expert players that have high knolegment.

The prize pool for Elementary league is irrelevant for several reasons:

• it isn't hard to get into the next (High School) league where there is much fewer participants
• Elementary league doesn't impose any restrictions on participants except that any league tournament accepts no more than 10k players. And some of those tourneys do have 10k players (for example, at about 8 p.m. EET). Now let's assume the prize pool is $20. 15% of the field get the points for their score in the leaderboard; if they are rewarded with money too then there should be needed $15 to give at least 1 cent to each such player which makes $20 prize pool insufficient. Since standard prize pool size isn't enough it can be reduced to formality - better to give saved money to leaderboard leaders, for example.

Wel you can play satelite and go easy in any league you want..

I do not pay attention to the prize fund in the league tournament, for me the main thing is to score a large number of points and take the prize in the monthly leaderboard and get a good prize, and if in the tournament the card plays very well, you can win an additional 3-4 dollars!
