I was kind of happy to see full tilt integrating the late reg. feature that PS offers. That is until recently when playing a satellite where 100 people were registered at the start of the tourney paying 35 places. (an overlay that i was very happy about.)

But once the "late reg." period was finally over there were a total of 164 players competing for the top 37 places.

Once again i don't hate the late reg. feature, but i do not like that it applies to all tournaments, satty's especially. I wouldn't mind if all of the guarantees and tournaments that full tilt is known for offered late registration, but i think it creates such a false allure in satellites. Maybe it's just me (as i'm in a bad mood right now), but maybe FT will look into this in their next update.

I also have a problem with Late Registration... I love it when I'm late but hate it when I join a tourney with 35 people in it with 30 sec. to go and then by the end of the first level I'm all of a sudden playing against 163 runners........
Sometimes I honestly think it's FT bots implanted in the game to make it harder to win.....
I guess in short Beer Lover.... I feel your pain! LOL

it aint right

late registration aint right... its a good thing for the poker site and all those players who have access to more than one account ..they play aggressive early and if knocked out they can get in again with another account . also it gives people time to call their friends in on the overlay..i think late registration is ok for a rebuy event but not freezeout.

I've started to hate it too, either make it more for them to enter, or they get less chips if they sit down late.

i dont like this option either i know at absolute that if u miss your 1st hand they eliminate you from the tourny which i think is a lil strict but like someone said b4 if your late your late we could not express this enough at the bar i play at which is live poker but still they knew the time of the tourny and every night we had the regulars get mad jus because they were late but they knew the time of the tourny so i beleive that if u know the time when it starts THEN GET THERE!!!

It sucks because people can just w8 the 5 minutes after the tournie starts and see about how many people have been knocked out and then register if the tourniment is in the possition they want.

Yeah i too dislike late reg, it's not a feature built for enthusatic tournament players who are there on time.

Yeah.. I should agree, you can thing that is bad whem you are one of the 35 that is in the exemple tourney :D !!! LOL .. But in true don't have that much people that come late.. and that usualy don't impact your final result..
But in other side it's very good if you are late !!!

I think FT made it happen because of all the people that're sitting out. A compenstation of some kind, for you can trust a "late register" to be at the table, and thus increasing your play-fun.. It's a two-way-end..

I don't mind it too much.
