I see that you want to play with low stakes, possibly the lowest. Then a few weeks ago prior to the wsop period I noticed that at the Wynn they have set up tables with stakes as low as 0.5/1$ for no limit holdem.

The Wynn? Really? Sounds a bit low rent for them.

OP, do you know where you're staying yet?

Would it not make sense for him to stay where he plans on playing and enquiring as to a poker room rate?

That was sort of where I was going but it depends on whether he'd booked and which room it was.

Then again, if it's a first trip nothing wrong with checking out a few different rooms and seeing which ones you like.

Still don't believe the Wynn's spreading .5/1 though. MGM started doing this not that long ago didn't it?

MGM Grand is my favorite due to the atmosphere and the success I've had there.

I was last there at the end of April and didn't see $.50/1. That would be surprising since they get plenty of players with $1/2.

The MGM is good for lower level games. It's always pretty active.

I like to stay where I intend to play, so there are no late night worries about getting across town.

MGM and Venetian are both good. I think Belgo did real well in the Caesar's poker room as well playing 1/3.

If you like tournaments the 7pm Venetian is great.

Not too sure about the best poker rooms for you but I do hope you have a great time. Good luck.

I think the Bellagio is your best bet. They have the largest poker room and almost non-stop action.

MGM without a doubt. the clubs are nearby and flooded with fish who come out that want to play poker. I paid for my entire trip there.

a friend of mine recently told me that Ballys' had a good $1-$2 game going and for tournaments the Venetian has tourneys every day..Bellagio would be the highest buy ins if that is what your looking for..Venetian is a bit lower but I believe there are more players..

Just finished a session at Bally's this evening. Down $100. I suck at full ring. Tried to make a few plays pre-flop and was always called by at least one or two. Just didn't hit a damn thing (my 77 fishing ran into KK, for example).

Table was standard mix of old guys and young ones. One old guy just kept yabbering in my ear. I should have bailed when I was down 1/2 the buyin. I didn't see any really bad plays in the two hours I lasted. I think I won exactly two hands pre-flop raised.

One of the dealers was a bit sloppy. Actually had to call the floor over for a ruling on a couple of rouges that popped out of his stack post-deal/pre-flop.

Bellagio was only spreading 1/3 tonight.

Osheas, Osheas, Osheas. Trust me.

#2 for juiciness on our trip was Planet Hollywood. Aggro Euros chasing 3rd pair and clueless American husbands wasting time while their wives shop the mall in back. Bet down your TPGK and get payyyyy-d.

Check out lasvegaspokersource.co m for good details on most local tournaments. Good sourse to find them all together. A friend's sister moved there and run this site.

I have another friend who deals at RedRock and he recommends Ceasar's for low limit NL games. And their tournies are pretty good also.
