Its been a few weeks now Ive contacted Support and at first they just said reinstall sofware and reboot, after a few more emails their latest email is below.
Ive added the poker Software Casino.exe to exceptions list and even turned off firewall but stil no joy, Not to keen on opening ports (Also but on
william hill another ipoker site I can login with no problem)
We have received a response from the Relevant Team about your concern regarding the connection issue that you have in Poker.
Please note that the casino software uses TCP connections to communicate with the casino servers where real games are being played. Each casino server has a specific port number; the client is connected to one casino server at a time. When the client is started it chooses the game server to connect by a random algorithm, thus the connection towards all servers’ ports should be allowed.
Ladbrokesvegas uses the following ports which need to be open for outgoing TCP connections:
5000 – 5005
Also please note that the port 443 (HTTPS port) should be open for outgoing TCP connections as the Cashier uses secure encrypted web connections.
When those ports are blocked either by the player’s local firewall software of his ISP, he will not be able to log in. Also some firewall software types might allow the connection to be made at first and then terminate it. As the first step for troubleshooting this issue the player should add the casino.exe file to the firewall software’s whitelist. There are many firewall software providers out there in the market and there is no one guide available for editing their configuration. The player should consult the documentation of his software for that.
In case the connection still cannot be established, advise the player to turn to his Internet Service Provider to troubleshoot this further
