Kentucky: Bovada + PPN + Revolution

Took that directly from another forum thread dedicated to tracking where US players can play.

I'd rank them in order of safety and usefulness Bovada, Revolution (but please, only Intertops, nothing on the network cashier i.e. Lock, Juicy Stakes, Cake), PPN

i think he's saying that several sites allow US players but not the states that have banned online poker which i do believe Kentucky is one of. i dont know how many states have laws on the books against online play but i do recall Kentucky being one of the first to say heck no.
you can try the other sites mentioned by some of the users but i think they wont let you play either honoring your state law. I'm currently in kalifornia and we are preparing our exit to a online friendly poker state with less taxes.
if the game wont come to me i'll go to the game and the state i leave can stick it where the sun dont shine..

Judging by the research i HAVE DONE IN THE PAST YEAR i WOULD SAY BOVADA IS THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK.
I had no problem getting money on there and there seems to be a decent tournament all the time going on.
Plus reviews have said withdrawl is one of the easiest.

This!! ^

I used to play on Carbon and boy am I glad that I switched to Bovada! Really easy to deposit, excellent tournament schedule, always ring games going and decent SnG tables as well! The best part though they have really nice software and the cashouts are really reasonable for a US facing card room.

Good luck on whichever one you pick though!

i live in kentucky and played on just about every poker room that came down the pike. we can play bovada,a few merge skins carbon being one, lock, black chip,ACR,and NLOP. kentucky has NO laws on the books for online poker, therefore we are in a GREY area, neither legal nor illegal. that is why some skins will let us sign up and others wont. i miss Q-C poker tour, a small site that booted us last summer. about the only one i do miss lol. i wish Queen Mary hurrys back!

The reason Kentucky is often banned is because the state government seized a ton of domain names (in 08 I think). The DOJ actually claims those seizures were illegal and is in litigation with KY right now.
