Bodog is far
superior in customer service than any site I've ever dealt with, which is at least 7 of them. (Only Poker Stars
could even touch them if they had phone support, but they don't.) I've called them maybe a handful of times in 4 years. Each time, I got someone that 1) answered the phone right away, never a wait or on hold, 2) patiently listened to your problem, and 3) resolved it quickly. They've all spoken perfect English, friendly, and sounded fairly intelligent.
Most recent example a month ago... In the $500 freeroll, I was chatting with someone. Right after I busted, I hit the enter key to send a chat. I didn't hit the 'yes' for the rebuy that popped up. But the stupid software 'rebought' me - not customer service's fault. You have to specially say 'no' or close the popup I guess. Then in the chat, I said 'crap, I didn't rebuy' yada yada. When I called them, they looked into the chat session, saw that I'd been talking to this guy awhile, and refunded my $1 instantly. And agreed, the software is not freezing up like before.
After dealing with the idiots at Players Only
(Merge) last week, who couldn't even explain in 1 hour how my (previously existing) screen name was already in use, you really come to appreciate an outfit like Bodog. Another thing, they don't try to nickel and dime you by requiring you to deposit in order to chat after you bust, like those greedy bastards at UB.
