My girlfriends nephew has a really hard time in school, A.D.D. i have been teaching him how to play Texas Hold'em. He is 9 years old and has trouble adding 12 + 11. When i started with him he had no idea what card beat what in what order or the names of the cards. It took less than an hour for him to know suits order, what hand beats what. He is on his third week of playing cards on-line (play money) and is up to 100,000 + on his play money account. People don't believe me when i tell them that there getting beat by a 9 year old.

What do you think of kids and poker?

It's fine as long as it's play money.

I was over at my friends house earlier this weekend and we were playing a little home game and one kid who I thought was like 18 was just snapping people off left and right and later on I found out that he was only 15 years old. I was caught totally off gaurd about the whole thing.
