Is juicy stakes poker any good? during a bovada tourney i was in a player told me to check juicy stakes out and i'm just wondering how things are over there, player base, deposit/ withdrawal, software problems anything. If you play there and like it let me know the good things about it and why i should play there. If you played there and hate it let me know those things to and why i shouldn't play there.

thanks,

Juicy Stakes poker is part of the revolution network I think. If you like the cake software you should try it.

I remember seeing this skin for I dunno somewhere around a year or so. Since I already had Cake I never loaded it. Voila, Cake goes away and everything I had accumulated is now on the Juicy skin. I haven't noticed anything sinificatly different.

There are plenty of post about Cake here if you use the search function. Number one gripe seems to be the $500 minimum withdraw requirement, with low traffic being a close second.

@genleemb yeah $500 minimum withdraw requirement does make alot of players not want to play there, i downloaded it and checked out a few of the freerolls. i didn't make a deposit there yet though just wanted to check it out and all. i probably wont make a deposit there.

Since Cake and Colt moved to Juicy, my Norton didn't want me to download it, so if U have any trouble, U can by-pass norton. I didn't bother with it since I didn't have anything but maybe reward items to transfer.
btw U might be able to get around the $500 withdraw with additional deposits to pull the min.

Pretty sure they have player-to-player transfers on Juicy, which is obviously a huge bonus (intertops doesn't have any).
Never understood why more US micro players don't pool their bankrolls together to make withdrawls (< if that's even allowed? ... how would they know?)
Transferring gives you the option though, of being able to at least move your money around a bit, & possibly get some play in on other sites too.

The $500 withdrawal minimum is ridiculous. I've thought about transferring money. Don't know why that wouldn't be OK.

@500 withdrawal doesn't bother me. i usually like to flip alot up on a site before a withdraw it. UNLESS i heard crazy things about how they payout or dont pay out lol. i just finished 5th for $55 in a freeroll at juicystakes. hopefully i'll flip that up to a decent amount like i've done on others. i usually make a $50-$100 deposit on a site and build that up to a lot. sometimes i just freeroll and build up and make deposit in order to withdraw lol. so far juicystakes isnt that bad!

Hah, well look who it is. I was at your table as ChiTownR.

Trying to turn that 7$ I made into a little something more myself. Currently in a 3$ buy in guarantee tourney. Main reason I came over here though, is I ran into an old buddy from another forum, TBDBITL. Was good running into an old friend randomly. Since I already have an account here, looks like I'm gonna have to start coming here more since my old forum is a ghost town.

Edit: Well I busted out in 19th out of 266 people. Really didn't make much, but I'll take the $5.65. Up to $11 and some change. Hopefully I can continue building this.

I have always done pretty good on Cake Software for some odd reason.
Today, 1st game I tried on Juicy and it was sat for1K this coming Sat.
Out of 430 players in Tournament 12573699 ($1,000 bankroll Freeroll Satellite), you came in 1st.
Hopefully my cards run good this Sat!!

I try to keep close track of cashout times on US Facing Networks/Sites. It is true that Cake Network (now Revolution) was horribly slow in providing checks. Note that at least Lock Poker has a Western Union withdrawal option which is taking 3 weeks from request to cash, you are currently looking about 2 months for checks from Lock. Since Juicy was a lightly used skin prior to Cake move there is no real history to check to see what cashout times have been tracking until now.

I see encouraging signs from Juicy Stakes, as some who have long-time check requests for months and months on Cake have been sent checks immediately upon moving to Juicy Stakes and sending in an email.

But as of now, Cake/Juicy Stakes has ridiculously long cashout times. Will have to wait and see how things improve if they do. Of course, if you need money in a hurry, you have the option to get money off in days (or less) if you are willing to part with somewhere around 20% of funds withdrawn (in P2P vig fees) in the trading market. That can be a tough pill to swallow when you work so hard to build up your money.

Hi my friend. 100% there are Player2Player transfers available on Intertops Poker. 1st, you must be 'verified', and possibly that is why it does not show up on your client.

Just to confirm here is a quote from the Intertops Rep himself
Intertops Poker said:
Hi

Welcome to Intertops! Yes if you have friend/contact that has the user2user transfer feature on his Intertops account, then that person can transfer funds to your Intertops account.

Best regards,

The Intertops Poker Team

To find the User2User transfer you log-in at: www.intertops.eu and go to the cashier. In the cashier you click payout and as the third option you should see User2User transfer if your account is enabled.

Of course, even though I am poor, I could not take $100 from a great member (unless you recently came into millions) :)

Well ever since I made a couple bucks in that freeroll days ago, I managed to make 2 final tables but no big payout. Was pretty disappointed in my last tournament. It was a 500$ guarantee and I played really good. Probably the best i've played in months but I took so many brutal bad beats when I put people all in and had them covered. Turn after turn and river after river they just sucked out on me. So brutal playing well just to get shafted like that. Still worked my way up to 30$ and I earned my ticket for that 10k tourney. So I basically got a free deposit on the site which is nice. Hopefully I'll continue to build on it.

@ChiTownRon yeah i lost alot to bad beats but was able to keep flippin up to lil above $100.. just hang in there keep playin well in long run you'll get'em! just make deposit on a merge site or somethin and leave juicy alone lol i've got msgs on here tellin me same thing and players that played against on juicy told me not to get too wrapped up with them because all the problems they have.

I hate the merge network. So I doubt I'll ever be making a deposit there. What exactly is so bad with Juicy?

That is not correct!
There's a thread here on CC when CC first began playing on Intertops. (DaBears provided alot of info. in that thread).
Accounts created after a certain date (somewhere in the vicinity of just prior to when CC began their games on there) CANNOT p2p transfer.
I am 'verified' on Intertops. I have withdrawn from Intertops 4 or 5x. I have had 6 different cake poker network skins/accounts & currently am on Lock, Colt, Cake, Juicy, & Intertops. I've also done over 40 p2p transfers on other Cake network sites (of the 5 sites I'm currently playing on, I can p2p transfer on '4' of them, Intertops is the ONLY one I cannot transfer on... & two of the others I am not verified but can transfer)
