Sorry guys Im sure there was a thread on this before, but what the hell happened to this site?? I used to love it here and I actually took down a nice mtt for 6 hundy and then the next night they just closed shop and fell off the face of the earth? Anyone in the poker industry know what really happened to these guys and what can we do if anything to get those funds? I just chalked it up as a loss but ya never know. Again if this was already posted just let me know. Thanks in advance...

thanks pooffy, yea I know it doesnt look good...its been like 2 years since they closed but I thought I'd take a shot.

well i would say it was the UIGA. they lost the US players and were never the same after. it was a cool site, and i liked playing there. the same thing happen to me on Jungle poker. took about $150 of my money and just went away. i went to there web site after the poker site closed, and got a message that the site is not allowing some IP addresses to on the site. i am sure it was all the players they owed money to.

JSP went down before the UIGA and filed for bankruptcy last I heard.

it was a cool site though, i built my roll up there and moved on luckily before they shut down.

The site was sold to cardroom.com.

Its in beta, with no cash deposits.They say they will never take deposits simply just a free play site with prizes and such.

It was the first site I ever downloaded,I think it was back in 2003...I really liked it back then...So now it's in beta testing,only free play?...Pffft,what's the point of that!?

It was also my first site that I ever downloaded, I loved it there and the people were so friendly!

It was very, very friendly, definately seemed to be the site of choice for recreational women players.

which meant it was very easy pickings for a good player - I liked the way it showed the position of all the players in the tournament next to their names on the table. I had terrible lag problems though, which made it bearly playable unfortunately.
