iPoker network, the worst gaming platform ever?

I have found this platform to be the worst of them all, especially with so many online bookmakers jumping on the poker bandwagon with the cheapest software rather than go independant like unibet, pokerstars which offer great platforms. (if you haven't played on Unibet, play it, great graphics and feel).

Last week on PaddyPower I missed out on two freerolls which I had tickets too due to the software not loading properly, apparenty a network error on their end. Funny thing is, I had the same problem with Coral as well, another room which runs on the iPoker network.

Anyone else been having problems? I only play on there because I got free money.

I used to play exclusively on I-Poker on the william hill site. Then they just changed it making it essentially unplayable for anyone trying to get by in poker. The traffic is more limited than most other platforms as a lot of previously different platforms have jumped onto I-Poker. I have four ID's on there myself. So whilst there is an illusion of a large player pool, there really isn't. I learnt to play on William Hill and so regret that they've got rid of all the things I liked about the site. I liked the freerolls because they were limited to a set number of people and the top 5th got paid (25 people If I remember right) then they changed it to only the top 5 got paid. For me winning every once in a while even a tiny prize, kept me wanting to play. Then they got rid of all the limit holdem cash games at the micros. They seem to not want beginning players there.

Anyway... rant over.. I'm just so disappointed with I-Poker.

I play also on williamhill, and have some accounts on other Ipoker rooms, and i have a multiple problems, for example , the williamhill software is running with approximatively 0.5 increasing to 1 GO of RAM witch is enormous and it's slowing my PC, i have other problem withbetfair : disconnected on a final table on head-up on MTT , and when returning i have ost70% of my stack....

Sure on the pokerword, there'sa much better software.

Yes, I have never been so tilted when the william hill sw disconnected me, but not the other player at the table. Couple of minutes later, most of stack is gone.
Then I got KK as fist hand, and I thought, ha, justice is coming back. Lost remaining chips to some 85o and tilt was there.

I play on both William Hill and betfair and the last couple of weeks their software has been terrible, freezing and crashing all the time.
I have been playing on William Hill's site for many years and while I agree
that it has changed, not in the players' interest, but then I think all sites have changed for the worst in the last few years.
Just try getting a rakeback deal these days, they are very rare, years ago every site, apart from PS of course, had rakeback but not now, it's all rubbish VIP programmes now.

I play mostly on betfred but since last week I am not able to login properly. I am repeatedly getting error of System not being able to connect to gaming network. I updated all browsers, flash software, poker software. but still not able to login. I hate clients like ipoker 888 which uses flash software.

I never understood why it is so hard to produce a good poker software.

There are so many more complex programs and games than a simple poker game...

The software itself is not that bad. BUT the networking is horrible. Disconnections are way too frequent.

Anyway other sites have connection problems also. Why is maintaining a good connection so hard to achieve?

I love to play poker on Unibet, really nice field! The avatars are a bit chaotic, but you can shut them down luckly!

When it was Poker770 was a really good site when AMAZING promotions (ipoker), Cash Machine, but now that it is NetPoker they took it to the ground, worst software ever.

All this is true of software is buggy. But the number of Freeroll tournaments to create a primary bankroll makes put up with it.

I haven't any disconnect problems on iPoker network in years! (until yesterday).

Its never an issue for me (this is while 6-tabling SPEED tables & playing tournaments at same time on there too).

I do hate how it goes when it changes you to a new table in a tournament & how you need to click on the 'ok' in the window popup in tourneys & other crap like that (definitely annoying). I've played on plenty of sites that are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy worse than iPoker. Try Bodonk 5 yrs. ago (what a sh1tstorm).

One other thing annoying me on there though this week is >>> seems like all of my player notes have just vanished today for Titan & WillHill. That f'n sucks for me! These are notes I've acquired by playing 100's of thousands of hands. I recognize some names still but it is obviously not the same.. sigh :(

Well, the positive thing is, that when it occured to me, during a SNG where I lost the chiplead when I got disconnected because of a software mistake, I did got my buy-in back, when I didn't cash in. Fair is fair

played in ipoker years ago, i know how you feel. The software is really different when compared to highend poker sites, not saying ipoker is not highend i think they are, it's just that it is slow. :D

iPoker network is not that bad as it seems...They have a very decent promotions and what is the most important they have great timeframe for withdrawals (im talking about WilliamHill). What could be important to some players, WilliamHill as a part of ipoker, has a super fast online support. Unibet is good but not good enough to beat WilliamHill, but thats just my opinion. Cheers!
