I've always liked Intertops. In fact, I'd say that it's my favorite site, or the one I play on the most anyway. The schedule is lacking right now, due to the segregation as mentioned above. Right now the schedule consists of a lot of bounty and rebuy tourneys, which are not my favorite formats. But I understand it can't be helped right now.
Together, the Revolution network, with their combined player pools used to offer more and bigger guaranteed tournaments. But because of the diminished value of Lock Poker funds (as low as .30 on the dollar)the other Revolution skins were concerned that Lock players would dump their Lock funds to players with accounts on their skins. It would be like turning monopoly money into real money on a site that actually pays it's players. So the need for segregation becomes obvious.
Basically, Intertops and the other Revolution skins have had to segregate themselves and operate in survival mode or risk letting Lock take them all down with it. I'm sure once the situation with Lock resolves itself, the schedule will improve, cash game traffic will return to normal and Intertops will return to being one of the best online poker sites available to U.S. players. As far paying it's players in a consistent and timely manner, it still is.
Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks of segregation is that each site must now cover guaranteed payouts on it's own. With a diminished player pool, not only will more tournaments have overlays, but the overlays will likely be greater. So in order to keep from losing money, tournaments with consistent overlays were removed from the schedule.
