This may be here somewhere already but how do you feel about intertops? I have had an account there for a couple years but haven't really played on it, mainly been sticking to live, and have now just started going online more. I also play at Bovada and that seems ok, just want thoughts on intertops. Is it a good site? How are the payouts? What do you think about it in general? just want to know if its worth my time or not. Thanks

I find the traffic very light --- even relative to Lock, which does not have a lot of traffic.

I mostly play heads-up sit-n-gos, so keep that in mind (when evaluating the amount of traffic).

This.

A main reason for this now is segregation. We can thank Lock for that. They don't pay the network just like they don't pay their players, so other skins on the network get punished and have no choice but to segregate themselves from the Lock player pool.

Intertops is working on adding some new games and guarantees to attract/retain more players. But unless/until the Lock situation improves, all other Revo traffic is going to suffer because Lock is far and away the largest skin.

Agree with the above, but why do they even stay on this network?

Also would love to see those tourneys you mentioned on Intertops. If someone got news on that let me know :)

Thank you all for the comments. I have been extremely busy and haven't been able to actually get on a play all but maybe a few times. I have another question for you all, Intertops runs 2 freerolls daily, one at 2 pm and 5 pm mountain time which is where I am at, does any one know of anything else, I am at work between those times, then its wife and kids on weekends, I was wondering if there were any later in the day that I didn't know about, or possibly on another site? Tournaments seem to be what I am best at, I get really frustrated with cash, I am not looking to build a huge bankroll, just don't want to deposit a lot you know so I thought freerolls would work to have a little fun and relax. Thanks everyone

hey jc, unfortunatly those are the only two freerolls on the intertops and top 8 places pay out a tournament tickets. Played a few yet to snag a ticket. Usually get like 150ish players i think, but memory is vague as 97 is comming to mind (maybe thats the right number).

edit: yeah 97 or so sounds more right, I'll keep trying them as would be nice to get me an entry to a real money tourny on there and get a br going. I like the site from what I have seen it looks pretty good and software is nice.

Hey bluff, I agree software seems nice, I was able to play one last Saturday and one on Sunday, (my wife and kids were out of town haha), just wish I could play a little more, seemed to do well in them, wasn't able to snag a ticket either but did enjoy it.

Yeah I have been trying to remember to register and play each evening now that I'm back to almost strictly freerolls again but my computer isn't very happy when I run 7 different poker sites all at the same time in the evenings haha and well sometimes i forget until its too late, but plan to bink me a ticket eventually and hope to make something out of it, the play is generally very soft but just often get unlucky and don't make it to a ticket spot.

I still have an account there and some freeroll winnings but haven't played any in the last year or so. It's the best skin on revolution. I was lucky enough to have an account before they stopped allowing US sign ups so when and if I choose to play on Rev network it will be on Intertops.

I love intertops. They have the best support team in my op.I've cashed alot there over the years.A great site, whatever network they happen to be on.The past couple years,I won quite a bit betting on NFL football there too.Altho, I havn't been betting this year
If I had to choose one site,it would be intertops.Bovada/bodog would be 2nd.

Why cant all skins urge Revolution to expel Lock?

I prefer Bovada. As others said, the traffic is too light and deposit methods are too difficult. Bovada is the way to go imo

Well for a number of reasons I could think of, but a big one in this case is that Lock owns a chunk of Revolution.

These are the only 2 freerolls there but if you play theses and save the the tickets you get for saturday just one dollar rebuy you can use the tickets for the rebuy/addon with makes it very easy to get a br rolling there.

I've always liked Intertops. In fact, I'd say that it's my favorite site, or the one I play on the most anyway. The schedule is lacking right now, due to the segregation as mentioned above. Right now the schedule consists of a lot of bounty and rebuy tourneys, which are not my favorite formats. But I understand it can't be helped right now.

Together, the Revolution network, with their combined player pools used to offer more and bigger guaranteed tournaments. But because of the diminished value of Lock Poker funds (as low as .30 on the dollar)the other Revolution skins were concerned that Lock players would dump their Lock funds to players with accounts on their skins. It would be like turning monopoly money into real money on a site that actually pays it's players. So the need for segregation becomes obvious.

Basically, Intertops and the other Revolution skins have had to segregate themselves and operate in survival mode or risk letting Lock take them all down with it. I'm sure once the situation with Lock resolves itself, the schedule will improve, cash game traffic will return to normal and Intertops will return to being one of the best online poker sites available to U.S. players. As far paying it's players in a consistent and timely manner, it still is.

Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks of segregation is that each site must now cover guaranteed payouts on it's own. With a diminished player pool, not only will more tournaments have overlays, but the overlays will likely be greater. So in order to keep from losing money, tournaments with consistent overlays were removed from the schedule.

I don't know how, but the last two paragraphs above got transposed somehow. I know it doesn't matter to anyone else, but it bothers the crud out of me.
