Unreal. I played in the 1:30am ET $15 Workhorse Freeroll last night. There were like 200+ players (I think 220 it showed). So I make it to final 6 (they pay through 5) sitting pretty in 3rd and what happens? I get AA. So I 5x and get one caller. Flop 6QQ. I 5x again get raised all in. I call. Q Turn. A River. Full House for me!

They had KQ off!!!!!! QUADS!!!!! So I got bunked on the bubble. I'm definitely not playing there again (well maybe) until the CardsChat Sept. 28th Freeroll.

Good Luck all! :)

I liked it when i played there but had way to many hands end just like that. People cry when there aces get cracked, A pair aint crap on line. Maybe heads up. Other issue i had was it would freeze up. But only on the most insane flopped boats. By time i reload its done.

Be careful on that site. I cant go into to much detail but if you play on a different skin like you can land on the same table in a tourney and have two hands playing. at same table. Doesn't sound like much but if the sit and go is 8 man two of them same person big advantage. Cash tables get on a 6 max 1/3 is on same team. if less than six players your at an even bigger disadvantage. Just be careful:confused:

Tough beat especially on the bubble. I was at the casino a few month ago and I had pocket 9's i believe and flopped a set so I raise and dude goes all in for like $300. The flop came out like 2-4-9 rainbow so I insta-call and he flips over his pocket 4's and I smile and flip over my 9's and I was just imagining the stack of chips that were about to be in front of me and then the river comes... 4.. Dude hit quads won a huge pot and also got an extra $200-300 bonus for hitting quad 4's. That was a tough hand to get over.

Funny you brought up live so it could be easier to relate the two. How many times LIVE would you say this has happen to you? The important thing is that it can happen live. 20 years playing and ive seen quads and straight flushes on two hands in live play.. Seen 1 royal live and two online. I see quads almost everyday online. but i only have a small number of hands (2.4+ million) and growing.

This isn't a common beat so just throw it out of your mind. But be prepared to loose because sets are nice but usually fall short with the action online seems to produce. Live play im usually all in unless the turn is unfavorable. Just get you a hud and track your hands. Its just a few bucks a month. Then you can complain about how your hands that were 80% or better post flop have a 49% win rate. And flips(45-55) are 28%. Then you understand why your not building that bank roll. Get a tracker. See ya at the tables. :bike:

I used to play a lot at San Manuel Casino in southern California before it closed its poker room and bad beats like that happened all the time to me there. I do use a HUD and tracker but thank you though for the advice.
