Hey all, I'm going to be in Tacoma, WA for the next 4 days and wanted to go to a good poker room. I have no clue what the "major" casinos are in the area - does anyone have any good recommendations? I like to play $100 NLHE. Seems like 95% of the smaller places I've called don't even have NL tables!!! ARG!!!!!! PLEASE help!

Auburn (east of Tacoma) has a great casino w/ poker. Just under 15 mile drive if i remember right. Muckleshoot is the casino name. Great fun.

Thanks for the suggestions, I did end up goin to Muckleshoot. Nice poker room, tons of tables (guessing 30), and they run a decent NLHE tournament with a $65 buyin for $8000 in chips. Problem is the blinds go up 15 minutes (not bad) but the blind structure was brutal.

25-50/50-100/100-200/200-400+25/400-800+25/750-1500+50/1500+3000+100

I didn't get farther than that and failed to make the money. Should have played the 3-6 limit game, I was a railbird for a while and both tables I watched looked very soft.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what does this actually mean:questionm Indian as in Sitting Bull and Hiawatha, Indian as in Madras and Mumbai, or does it have a third meaning that I'm not aware of:questionm What is the difference (if any) between the indian casinos and the other casinos:questionm

In the US, Indian tribes have jurisdiction over their own territories sorta like they are their own countries. They are then able to set up casinos, which they do everywhere possible.
