Harrahs has so much of the center strip locked up they can afford to do this...In truth, I would not be suprised if the entire place gets demolished at some point as this would allow them to truly reinvent it...I would say this would not happen for a while yet though.

Article states that was the original intent... until the recession hit. maybe someday.

Ahhhhhh. did not read the article.....that makes sense though....Better not to have started it than to have the recession hit whilst in the middle of construction.
