nope..In Omaha, you have to use exactly 2 cards from your hand..So your best 5 card hand would be AAA104..whereas your opponent flopped a fullhouse and improved his fullhouse on the river playing the Ace 6 from his hand for AAA66

No, unfortunately, you lost the hand. Omaha requires that you play exactly two cards from your hand. Both cards you play must be used in making your five card hand. So you would have played A4 giving you A A A 10 4 (the A A 10 from the board and the A 4 from your hand). Your opponent would have played his A6 giving him A A A 6 6 (the A A 6 from the board and the A 6 from his hand).

But the hand is definitely confusing if you don't play Omaha a lot as it does look like a split on the surface.

yes, I see now. I know the rule just didnt look at the hand deeply enough. Cases like this is why I play every omaha freeroll I can. Need to be able to see that instantly. Thanks a lot

In Omaha, you MUST use 2 cards from your 4 cards dealt to you. Jim's highest-valued 2 of his 4 cards are A4 and must be the ones used.

You must use exactly 2 of your own cards and exactly 2 from the board.
