I have won a relatively small amount of money (<$100) on nlop and im looking for another site, the requirements being, its free and it pays out money. Im pretty new to poker, and i've had a great streak of luck lately and im doing my best not to confuse it w/ skill, so this is why im only intrested in free sites.

I am looking for sites like that but the site wtp club, as far as i could tell doesnt pay you unless you play w/ real money, vs nlop does but im looking for another one, I did find quarterpoker but to me that just looked like a huge waist of time

Why leave NLOP

Why do you want to leave NLOP. I love the $1000 free roll on Sunday's, $500 on Saturdays and the $350 on Wednesdays. My teams earns entry to each for free every week. I cash often.

Try Pureplay.com.....It is very similar to NLOP; however, there are quite a few more players....I play there for the 10,000 wsop main event buy-in exclusively but play at NLOP for the small cashes and 25K Summit.

I was wondering if this site has a mobile App

Looked at nlop.com FAQ and they use a third party called Dwolla to issue payments. To get paid you have to create an account and give them your social security number.

I could see verification on a big payout but on a few bucks it sounds fishy.

Once you set up an account with Dwolla you never have to request a payout from NLOP again. Funds automatically go into Dwolla and from there you can ship it to anybody you want via email. It is the most convienant method I've ever encountered....It is a sweet deal, to be certain!

hi guys!! I'm glad i found this post as i was just thinking about this. my concern is slightly different from the original author but just as genuine. a little abt me. i just started playing poker last yr, started on aol just to learn the game and discovered "hey, u be bussing their ass (don't know if I can curse here, if not sorry!), maybe u should ply for money. Move on to L'auberge to go w my aol play, bust the casino up a few times but of the 7 trips, i lost mostly. obviously that's bc on the floor poker is not poker, u aren't betting against anyone, the bets are standard so their no flex. no flex, no poker. in the summer, i found a cash game and have been playing there since, even bust them up two or three times and this is real competition. so in November is when I realized I could really play after leaving the cash game w 900 dollars that wasn't mine. I decided my next step was to play online for bread. of course being new to the game, i didn't even know abt the poker ban a few yrs back that changed the whole thing lolol. Anyhow, I spent december trying to figure out the best approach to playing online for bread. Voila, nlop. Now I gave that intro bc I'm new to the site and i want to the community know my questions and contributions are genuine, and knows i love the game. w that said, here's my thoughts on nlop...coming from a most powerful noob.

I have no complaints abt how the site looks or functions. Performance, well that, is an issue forreal. As the poster up there mentioned, that bad boy will disconnect on ur turn on the best of hands. Often. Curiously, it only starting doing that to me once...I had placed 2nd in a 75 MTT. Didn't think shit of it, until I won a 500 qualifier. After that, I started happening a lot but again I just figured the site has traffic like that, it's just part of the game. Somehow w it disconnecting every three hands, I won a 1000 qualifier as well (all in january, tips hat). I wasn't until I lost a step 3 bc of it, did I realize I might be single out bc they think I can play. Idk how I feel abt that yet, but yes the connectivity issue is real.

But still, I can accept that. What I can't figure out, which brings me back to the original post and defines why I'm even here, is how to make money? I play my 500 cash tourney that I won on Sat, did pretty well. I was impressed myself. Until I realized I played 4 hrs to get 22 or 24 or whatever, and win $3!!!! So lets recap...I had to win the qualifier, literally 1st or 2nd, to play for the 500 (which is not 5, it's 2 first place and 1000 is really 4) which took 3.5 hrs. Then played in the 500 and got $3. That was 7 hrs for 3 bucks. And these games only play once the weekend. The only cash tourneys playing everyday are 10, 20 and 50 which mean 5, 10 and 20. And these games are as full as the 500, I'm taking 200 folk per tourney so that going 2, 3, 4 hours too...for 5 bucks!!! Lolol, I don't get it. I understand playing for the 300, 500 and 1000 but w even those, they play once a wk and u gotta work hard to get there, then win it. What I am missing? Somebody let me know something. Peace!!

OK

I've had a similar experience, and while I enjoy playing on NLOP for practice, the opportunity cost is enormous, if your good enough to win 5-10 dollars in 5 hours on nlop, in the same time frame you could have won 500-1000 dollars on a site like fulltilt.

I usually only play these 3 "big" tournaments each week. You can earn free entry each week by having your team place in the top 10 teams. After I recruited 3-4 players to my team, we stared earning entry into 2 or all 3 tournaments each week.

Basically recruiting teammates to join the site is easier than "earning" the tokens needed to enter the "big" 3

Have you checked out Cafrino.com? Someone on here told me about it, and I tried it for a little while, but for some reason, I can't get interested in those sites. Also the one who told me about the site, said they pay out quickly and it don't matter how much you want to withdraw. So GL there if you play

NLOP now pays out weekly. I have cashed in freeroll tournaments many times and they automatically withdraw the full prize and you can have it in your bank within a week of winning. Although neither site offers a method of depositing real $$, they both offer real $$ prizes in freeroll tournaments. I think Cafrino offers tournaments that you can buy into using real $$ won on their site. On NLOP real $$ won in tournaments cannot be used for anything, it can only be withdrawn.

Ghost -

The teams that play the most hands each week get totally free entry into the $350, $500 & $1000 tourneys each week. My "team" is everyone I invite to the site. DO NOT sign up directly. Get invited.

"Team Grayling" has finished in the top 4 every week from the time we started, just about a year ago. :)

I'd love to invite you.

PS There are a LOT of perks you get by being "invited" that you don't get by signing up directly.

I've been VIP for about 8 months. I won money both ways. But, it's nice to have the extra tokens for rebuys. :)

NLOP ARE LYING SCUMBAGS

Im having the same issue with these Scumbags at NLOP. It wont let nobody cash out winnings of more than $50. I was able to cash out a $3 winning no problem. But if you won more than that, you will get nothing but lied to, and the run around. You should of seen the carefully worded, manipulative email they sent me in response when I contacted them. Basically ,I might get paid by end of January, or I might not. They make me sick to my stomach. THEY DONT HAVE THE MONEY YET. They are just hoping that they get enough sponsors to pay you. But they wont, they are a pathetic, sorry excuse for a poker site. Ive taken screenshots, of all their FAQ's and policies, and sent them to my brother in law who is a lawyer. Its plain as day, in your face FALSE ADVERTISING. It says clearly you can cash out immediately,I cant believe the Geniuses who run that company haven't removed that yet. I sent them a lawsuit threat. I gave them 48 hours to get me my money. My brother in law said he would gladly sue them and wont charge me a thing. My email address is robnielsen78@yahoo.com, please anybody feel free to contact me if you want in on the lawsuit. I'm gonna make it my life mission, to make these scumbags accountable for their lies, and bullshit.
