I used to love pokerstars. The look and the action on the site. But over the past few months I have hardly played on the site, I've just played a few freerolls and have no roll on there. I dont have the itch to deposit on the site either and focus my time on Full Tilt.

I really looked at PS and thought, its not really friendly to people without a roll or give people a fair chance at building one and making people want to deposit. FT is more user friendly and has MANY ways to build money, they do have the donkaments but theres more and theres a better payout

As for the tourneys, I like the tourneys on PS but the FT MTTs have a better chance at cashing then PS. Less people, depending on the buy in of course but even a smaller stake mtt was less people on FT the PS...last I checked.

What do you guys think?

I used to play cash on stars and tournies on tilt, but now just strictly stars.

I have forgotten about some FT tournies but I think stars is pretty similar. Plus stars is better to deal with through ridiculously fast e-mail responses and check delivery

If I were willing to deposit on sites I would definitely play on PS. I like their set up and the look of the site. But, since I'm determined to build a BR from $0-$100 without depositing I'm guessing I'll just keep playing on FTP since they have alot of great FRs and smaller fields.

I dont play there so much as i used to. I mean the freerolls suck because there are to many players. I have seen a hyper turbo freeroll with 150.000 players.

I like the double or nothing with 10 players, support is quick and i like the layout of the site.

I think Full Tilt has focused promotions toward the low stakes players recently.

That's where I have played the most in the last 4 months.

I do agree PS has WAY BETTER customer service.

Another thing is, I like watching pros play high stakes games. FT has plenty but PS you dont see it as much. Kind of a let down.

I'll stick with Pokerstars. Have a small roll on FT that I only use for CC buy-ins and OFC games.

I'm also a 'nite owl' player and Stars always has a much wider selection of tables for ring games 24/7 late nights. Their freeroll schedule is more oriented to worldwide 24/7 participation even though I don't play them much anymore.

Stars customer service can't be beat. Cashouts are a breeze.

I also like the software on Stars because they are the only site I know of that presets the entire 52 card deck for each hand before the first card is dealt. All other sites use a constant shuffle. I've played live since '69 and just can't imagine sitting at a table where the dealer is constantly shuffling the cards during each betting round.

It's Stars for me ... all the way ... :icon_sant

I think your low roll prefers FullTilt because CC has freerolls there not Stars. ;) Thats the only reason I see that its easier to build, since pokerstars has every buyin game going down 10c, and the 25c no rake sngos aren't even turbo.

The number of entrants doesn't make much difference in the ease of cashing, its the payout structure and Fulltilt has mostly ~10% payouts and Stars mostly ~15%, so disagree there. It is easier to win or final table in a smaller field of course...

In my opinion, it's just so darn easy to build from scratch on Stars using FPP points if the withdraw curse hits - I like the Sunday 250k $2.20 MTT sattys to gain tourney dollars, then parlay that into larger buy-in tournys for cash. I find it softer past 10pm stars time.

Stars for me. I do agree with OP that stars tourneys(low-buyin) all seem to have alot of people. I did perfer it before they had late-reg that you could find a touney with 1-2000 people in it. Now it seem every low-buyin has 3000 or more people.
