I see that ignition is now the number one site on cc. Is there any freeroll for cc members, and does it work in a mac?

If it works on Mac I think and the freeroll has many options just read the rules of the forum and comply with the condoms of the same to access the freerolls please make sure you read the rules to not commit any violation

As far as I know, there aren't ANY freeroll options on Ignition. I could be wrong, but there isn't even a freeroll button.

I don't understand why people would play a site where your opponents names are randomized. You are missing a big part of poker--knowing your opponents habits and play style. At a randomized name site you have to play a while to figure out their style; the next time you play them you'll lose the opportunity to take advantage of their style because you won't know it is the same person.

They claim "This really evens out the playing field at the start of every new game— just like in a live casino environment, where take to the tables against anonymous strangers". Ignoring the poor grammar/typo, that's misleading and irrelevant. Of course, the first time you sit down with a stranger you'll have to spend time learning their playing behavior--that applies to all forms of poker. But in a live casino, do you think I won't remember you the next time we sit down together?

Why is the site so popular?

It's popular because it's fishy. :)

Ignition - went down in flames

First day on Ignition - I heard all the hype so figured i'd give it it try since they had some MTTs 3 tableetc. - I played a small double up n busted. played $1.10 S&G then everything crapped out, Disconnected!! closed it out and reconnected but my table will not com up. Had approx 1200+ with blinds at 75/150 so I know I had not busted. tried again, same result . called the # rep said he could see my table and see i was still in. he wanted me to reset my modem which didn't make sense to me as I could connect to internet. Knowing I would be down to nothing if I reconnected tried but nothing - Is this is the site you are all raving about ???? rep made no offers to refund or anything - Wow just kind of a sorry bout that, good luck attitude - I had thought about entering the 4k glad I didnt - will see what happens if this continues If so I will just cash out and play ACR although I hate their rebuy, re-entry take forever tournaments.

Hey mods... this is spam right here. ACR paying someone to post BS on forums. Do you see all of the clues? :)

REALLY!!

JOHN A . I think you should not accuse someone of something unless you know for certain that is the case. FYI I'm not on ACR payroll or have no relation with them whatsoever other than being a player ! I feel what you have done here is worse by making these accusations. If you want to defend Ignition then do so. The comments I have made are 100% true and here I am having to defend them which is a big waste of time but I can just let it go. My first day on Ignition was a bad experience of which I was really disappointed especially after hearing so many talk about how good it was.

Also; I do not like their "no player ID" policy. I believe it was pokerstars that had a big problem with Collusion in the Double up S&GS - having no player ID makes this impossible to identify so I will not be playing them.

I would say an apology is in order, but I don't expect I will see one.

They do monthly freerolls: https://www.ignitioncasino.eu/promotion/2017-monthly-freeroll-poker-series

Also as others said, the reason so many people play on Ignition (Bovada) is because it's still, even in 2017, super fishy. I think part of this is because how hard they work to limit the impact of HUDs. IMO it's the closest "online" that you'll get to live poker.

No, that's not why. I've playing on bodog, Bovada, and Ignition for almost 10 years now. It was much fishier back in the date.

It's mostly fishy because it was the largest sportsbook online. People would claim their sports winning and dump money into the poker room. The owner has always hated this and that's why he eventually separated the US poker room from the sports book with Ignition.

The site is still Fishy, but it doesn't mimic live play in any way. In live play you actually know your opponents. You know when other regs sit down with you and who they are. You don't have stats on them, but with anonymous tables you never know who you've played again in the past.

I know for certain... spam.

Very rude way to treat a new member. I think of spam as someone that comments on allot of post in order to advertise a product that they may be getting a kickback on like DriveHud,PokerSoftware,Ignition Poker, or Betoline --- wait no ACR ? ?

BTW I cashed out on Ignition never to return - Good Job! John

So obviously spam... but not my forum.

I'm the owner of those products, and know the owners of this forum and my products work with ACR also. But continue on your obvious paid trolling of ignition and promoting ACR.

I have yet to hear anything good about Ignition Poker. I have downloaded the App before, it was not very appealing to go any further.

I downloaded and play the freeroll on iggy and the software was super laggy, to the point I wont play on it anymore. I'd hit fold or bet button and 3-5 seconds later it would respond. Just don't have the patience to deal with it.

while its nice having notes on players, you can put notes on people in a MTT/cash game while youre playing. I like the no re-entries, people dont just blast into pots, or not as much. i like the software, there could be a little more MTTS at the $10-30 but there are still a decent amount

I've been thinking of joining, but won't until they offer freerolls.

I think they offer 1 big freeroll a month so I don't think they will offer more any time soon.

I've done quit well on Ignition and even better when it was Bovada. They do offer a monthly freeroll that is a turbo, and though there is a large number of entrants they payout a high percentage of the field.
