Ignition Casino account hacked and bankroll is gone :(

Hey guys/gals,

It’s my first post here and wanted to let you guys know what happened to me on ignition Casino. On 11/17 at 7:40am my account was hacked and in the span of 10 minutes my entire $1430 poker bankroll was lost by someone playing blackjack and Cyberpunk City (slots game). I contacted Ignition Casino customer support and notified them of the fraud expecting that they would put the money back into my account but they refuse to do so. The entire time (3 years) I’ve been on Ignition the ONLY game I have ever played is NL Holdem cash games. I have never played any of their casino games because I don’t gamble. At first they told me that they wouldn’t refund the money because there was “no fraud detected” meaning that they believe that I lost the money. I pushed further and got in touch with a supervisor and pleaded my case and he agreed that the activity was indeed fraudulent but also refused to refund my bankroll because he said an email was sent to me a year and a half ago asking me to change my email address with them and I didn’t do it therefore the fraud is my responsibility. I never got that email.

Just wanted to warn you guys to take steps to protect yourself against hackers and Ignition Casino. They directly profited from the fraud on my account as the money was lost to their casino. I’ll be filing a complaint with the Kahnawake Gaming Commission which is who oversees Ignition.

Has anyone else dealt with this? I welcome any tips or tricks you guys may know to get my money back but I’m afraid it’s just gone

What an awful thing to have happen. Good to hear that you are disputing it with their governing body and I truly hope that you prevail.

SUX, but that doesn't surprise me. I used to play Ignition two years ago, but I cashed out and left that site when their client software went to hell. It used to be a good looking site, complete with fun animations. That went away, replaced with a lay-out that looked like an old video game. I didn't care about that, until the damn client quit working. At first, I had to reinstall every time there was an update. At others, I had to log on several times as it insisted I had no funds in my account even though I could see I did. Then, finally, it just stopped working completely, nothing more than a black screen. That's when I had enough of that. Haven't been back since.

I always got good service from customer service.
