Hey, I'm getting my sportsbook poker check tomorrow, and I really need to know asap of those of you (American Players) who have successfully cashed a check from them in the past month, maybe two. Just please, if you either were successful or not, tell me and how long ago it was. I really don't want this check to bounce again, and I might need to put some cushion money in there in case it does. (Yes, I'm really really broke). I'm also from Indiana, so if anyone is from there, even better information, but if not, just tell me in which general area you are, e.g. east coast, midwest, etc. Thanks!

Brian - you have to quit using this site IMMEDIATELY. It has held a poor rating from the most prestigious of rating sites for some time D- (that is almost as bad as it gets). I see millions of complaints on the Forum on the same site. Slow Pay, No Pay, Refuse to Pay on Bets, Refuse to Pay 14K on blackjack due to software glitch, bounced checks, etc (there are a million of them)

Just take your business to one of many A sites that have very good records treating customers properly, have excellent lines, good bonus and allow US Players.

There are several that fit this description

Good Luck

PS..I just took a look at some recent threads concerning them. My god, How do they stay open and have people keep using them. They do pay some people after what looks like pulling teeth if you are lucky-but no poker room would get away with anything remotely similar before it would be a ghost town.

Ya, but geez... I have a dilemma, I love the cake client, and for some reason, I play my best poker there. I can't explain it, maybe it's the players, or maybe because I like the client, I'm just in a better state of mind. I have no choice but to try to cash this money out because it's my last of the money on that site. Right now, I have 14 cents on the site, and it will stay like that forever unless I get invited to a private freeroll and win on that site. I'm never playing on sportsbook again, but I do play on another site called Player's Only. Same network, but I'm hoping their service is better. However, I have no deposited in several months, and I am trying to be disciplined enough to just play with freeroll money.

Cashed out

Sorry for the spammage. I forgot I had enough money in my bank account to not get a big fine if my check bounced, and the check cleared. It took exactly one month for it to "process" then about 3 days to get the check mailed to me. When I played on Sportsbook a long time ago, it was 3 days instant, no scare of whether or not the check would cash out. Because of the laws here in the states, they have to find a way to get players' their money, and it's not as easy as it used to be apparently. This site is definitely far from unethical, just stupid customer service. Stupid for sending out bounced checks that give them a bad rep now, and for vague answers from customer service that just keep giving people the run-around, also, they kind of lied to me once. So basically, ya.... if you happen to have money in sportsbook, keep it, play with it if you want to, but once you cash out, don't leave anything behind. Just cash out everything, and try another poker network, or heck, another cake skin. Definitely, the people cashing out the money are different, at least I think so. Cake charges you 35 bucks for a check, min is at 500, and they take even longer to process checks, while I think the min at sportsbook is small like 50 bucks, and no fee for the first check each month. The check I got from them also had to go through customs, which cost me another 20-30 bucks, and that took a while to process as well (about 2 months total). In second thought, maybe a cake skin may not be so good. If I cash out at Player's Only, I'll post something about that, but if anyone has experience with Player's Only, I'd love to hear from you.

iv played at players only - love the site. i had my first several withdrawals a couple weeks back and iv read around that checks can take a longggg time to process and go through. so another way is usemywallet.com or quicktender. its an ewallet site and you need an invite so you have to email players only cashier asking for an invite. sometime later (like a week later for me) youl get an invite and once you have usemywallet your withdrawal will go directly from players only to usemywallet to your bank account within a week.

Well, first I made a mistake thinking you were talking about the Sportsbook itself, but it is the same backroom operation apparently from what I read

SO I apologize for misunderstanding

BUT, if you want to play on the exact same network with the same freerolls, move to Cake Poker....Unless someone knows otherwise, I believe it is seperate ownership

I WOULD NEVER STAY WITH AN ORGANIZATION connected with Sportsbook.com until they completely change their tactics. If you were bounced a check on the poker side, that only matches their abysmal record of bouncing checks, delaying payments, refusing to pay, etc on the book side.

Good Luck
