We are used to them now on TV, and for those who indulge, probably any live game.
Sunglasses.

Got me to thinking, Phil Loch uses a hooded sweatshirt to hide from opponents. Greg Raymers whirlygig glasses, the list goes on.

So why not a total avatar. Fold it up like an umbrella, pop it open like a shield and set it on your lap.

Are there rules to prevent this?

That is pretty good. I don't think there could be a rule against it. As long as your not getting in the way of the table or opponents.

How about getting paid for miniature billboards?

I wear a Mexican wrestling mask when I play live.

Here I am at a local casino. No one can read me baby!

Egads, I envision a really funny parody on SNL or some such.
Phil Loch hides behind his hood, Greg Rayners Whirlygig glass go hi-tech and become animated, Lo-Dog and his mask, Jennifer Tilly with a fold up avatar hidden in her cleavage. Pops up and has her face on it.

The mind boggles

Why not just go the Phil Helmuth route and get a cardboard cutout of yourself to put in your seat?

They don't help much when you play on-line.

I have these really huge D&G sunglasses that I was going to wear when playing, but then I felt wicked goofy lol.

some women wear low cut blouses, men aren't looking at your eyes when there is cleavage to look at.
