18 months ago I tried to deposit money into Ultimate bet but my Bank does not allow deposits to online poker sites so instead I opened a neteller account and put the money in there and then transferred it to UB. I won some money on there and then after a while moved it to bodog and from there to pokerstars and now I am at Full Tilt. I have got approx 800 $US in my Neteller account and I want to withdraw some of it.

Neteller wants me to email them a copy of my passport and a utility bill to verify my account but I am a little cautious about sending this stuff to people due to possible identity theft / fraud.

Any one else been through this process?

Yep pretty standard stuff really. I had my neteller account around a year or so when this happened, I sent the stuff no problems at all.

yes, it's standard, it happens with most payment processors. if you don't trust then with your ID why are you trusting them with your money? :)

Being Netteller is such a huge site I would not be cautious at all with them. However if a company that is not well known ever asked I would not send my information. You can also look around the forums for sites that have complaints. Good Luck and congrats on your winnings
