Hi guys, the title says it all.

Basically I've already got a ticket for the Sunday $11.00 (1000 seats gtd) tournament however at present there are around 18,000 runners and it's climbing. It wouldn't surprise me if it reaches 40k + runners and he chances of qualifying are quite slim as it is even though I'm sill going to be playing it I've not really got much hope so need a back up plan.

So I'd like opinions on the best way to qualify directly to the Sunday Million? I've got around 4000 FPP's and I could try a 3750fpp 6max Hyper Turbo 2 entries however I definitely think this is a gamble and one I'd be fuming if I lost and in turn lost all my fpps. I know there is no easy way without some risk but this is a huge margin of my fpps so kind of makes me not want too. There are plenty of other cash/fpp tournaments out there that are low buy-ins but like 300 runners and only 1 or 2 getting a seat and it seems to much luck needed to make it.

I'd like to know what you think personally are the best tournaments to try and qualify for with best returns and less luck involved with some good odds on on qualifying..

I'm a micro limit player but I'm willing to make an exception for this tournament and play in some bigger stake buy-ins upto around $10.00. I wouldn't normally play any higher than $2.00 tournaments but I don't mind trying two maybe three $10.00 if the returns of qualifying still high enough to make it worthwhile.

I know this sounds quite reckless and I doubt I'd do it but its the first time I've considered it just because of the special occasion Sunday million game BUT I'm tempted to buy directly into the Sunday million which would be most if not all of my BR as more of a gamble or so on.

Any suggestions would be great.

^^This. I'm a micro player but this is too much an opportunity to pass up. Look at it as a £100 UKIPT tourney with £50 travel and food costs, but with a $1M 1st prize and lambo

There are a number of staking sites out there if your stats are good you may be able to sell your action or a % of your action. I know 2+2 have a staking section but also PTP, & Chip me up

Good Luck

You have to be reg'd and get confirmed by admin for ptp though, and this wouldn't be done in time probably

I wouldn't get staked in a 25 cent tournament let alone a $215.

Thanks for the idea thought! :D

guys, I didn't even had money on stars, I borrowed 20$ and I played several 2-3$ mtts, mostly rebuys, and I qualified, I eventually hit some good cards in the beginning, I had AA, shoved preflop and tripled up, and this was a 3$ rebuy so people ware going crazy, shoving any 2, all you need to do is wait for a decent hand, shove it in preflop and hope it holds.

So so tempted too - I wish I was single makes everything far easier to just take money of credit/debit cards for poker lol. I think the wife would have something to say about it.

That $11 at 16:00 -- will it even be finished in time for the start of the tournament? Or does seating take long enough that they will get it in?

The best value one which I have a half decent chance is about 3-1 odds on qualifying and that's a VIP FPP MTT tournament (2,500) poker stars has added 10 seats. 13,500 per seat current prize pool 285,000 fpp's with 60 entrants and 21 already guaranteed a seat.

That's isn't bad value for money, is it? Thoughts? Could get a $25,00 bonus with 2,500 fpp's so any $25,00 direct buy-in tournaments for the sunday million have better value than that?

I'm confused. Just looked on PS and the super satellite starts at 16:00 ET whilst the Tournament itself starts at 16:30. How they planning to get through what is already 20,000 registered players in that time? Not to mention late reg is half an hour. People will be regging for the satellite right up to that time the real tournament kicks off. Not sure I understand the reasoning behind this. Maybe I'm being an idiot.

The 5 mil has late reg of 120 minutes, and, if you win a seat in the satty you will automatically get seated in the tourney. Even if reg is closed.
