When I could sign in and join a SnG for PLO and PLO8 and it would start right away. The waiting times at Merge are unbearable

/end rant

Agree. I've pretty-much given-up on PLO8 and I was never into straight PLO to begin with. The player base just isn't there on Merge to support these games very well.

TBH even the action with Holdem if you want to play micro SnGs is not there. I just prefer PLO/8 all the time and there is no market for it. With the lawmakers we have now there is no way I will be getting back to my happy days anytime soon. I have left my BR in there though just in case a miracle happens :)

If for some reason pokerstars was shut down to UK based customers, I think my poker playing days would be next to none or very minimal at best.

I feel for you. We are very lucky in the UK that we have not been subjected to the same restrictions as our US friends. I really hope all this gets sorted out and all the guys I love playing with get back on line again.

This is pretty-much the case in the US right now, and the longer and longer things go unsettled the smaller and smaller the player pool gets as more and more players realize that most of the fish are gone and the majority of those remaining are at least somewhat skilled in the games. I'm not going to say the games are unbeatable or anything; but the profitability certainly has dropped significantly.

On another forum they are having a discussion on why posting is way down. I think most of the usa players (fish) have dropped out of the market and the hard core player has little time to post at a slow site.

I enjoyed PS when I could play there, it maybe a long time until I get to again.
