But i am getting a little burned out playing so much.
My wife was ready to kill me because i played at all hours of the day and night but lately I find myself playing with no passion so I am cutting back to only 15 hours a day (lol joking) No, will play an hour or 2 for 3 or 4 days a week and see what happnes.
Anyone else went throgh this?

There have been a lot of us here who have gone through the same. It takes time but you have to learn to balance your home life with your poker playing. Don't let the playing overun the home life. You will find that playing poker will be a lot more enjoyable.

Indeed, I agree with Bubbasbestbabe. Not to mention that the home life will be much more enjoyable. I played almost every chance I had for approx. 2 1/2 years. My wife was ready to pull my plug. Now I play an average of one tourney every few days. Mainly on the weekends. And most definitly after the kids are in bed or they are at school. And yes there are withdrawls, but my homelife and my game came back to health dramatically almost immediatly when I put my priorities back in line.

Ive noticed that ive been playing a little bit too much lately as well, kind of just playing for the heck of it, not that I really want to play, just I play to play. I think I am going to start setting a time limit on how much I play each day.
