I used to do the same thing. A good rule of thumb is to only play in tourney's where you can afford to replay a couple times. The big pay-out on the higher buy-ins is great, but if you lose your whole wad on one game, it sucks. So fight the allure of the big pay-day (for now), and practice patience and slowly build up your bankroll.

Tight

Nice win from $7.50 to $68 I mean. Hope you share the wealth...jokes. with $70 to $80 I would just play the limit $0.50/$1 just because the size of the bankroll.

Good Luck in the future.;)

I've found I have made more money with playing the SNG $1-$5 tables. Did accidentally hit a $20 table instead of the $2 and was the last one they needed so I was stuck. Got lucky and came in 2nd and won $60 but now I'm extra careful when I play. I just enjoy playing more at the low buy-ins for me it gives me a feel of the cards on how to play with different types of people on line.
