Unfortunately, in a multihanded pot where one person hits the low and bids the pot up aggressively, you can find that to keep in the hunt for the high you have to commit a large number of chips only to be beaten by aslightly better Hi hand. So compared to just the Hi game, Hi/Lo is more of a lottery.
If your drawing to the high, you doing something wrong. You should only be entering the pot with a made starting high hand, such as kings or aces. Not likely to win by end of hand, but are likely to only need to hit 2 pair to win. The only other time is when drawing to a flush or straight where you are getting huge odds
to call so it isnt a bad thing to chase
