Have you tried to contact them to see what they have to say? It could very well be as geezer says and you hit the yearly subscription instead of monthly. Curious... did you read the email they sent you regarding your signup? This may well have prevented you from being in this spot now since it would have detailed your subscription. As it is, why not contact them, explain what happened, and ask for a refund. Any site that has any kind of customer service worth a crap would make this right.

That is the reason I never sign up for anything with a trial period, alot of times you don't get out of it before you get banged.(or it might just be me that sucks at it.)
Good luck getting your money.

You proably hit the wrong button. I joined and quit Wpt twice in two years and never had a problem with them. Contact support before trail end and see if you can get a refund. Wpt is pretty good in payouts. My last one took 3 weeks.

Honestly, for $20 bucks a month I guess its a good deal. You could probably recoup your $$ relatively quick, but I dont think you can make any big money on WPT.

I have a membership there, and was playing there everyday, to me its purely for practice, and therefore not really worth actually payin for it, the cashes just are not worth it IMO.

That and the software is just so frustrating, auto folded in 10 secs? cmon? if u do not chk, bet, call, or raise in 10 secs. u r auto folded, really don't have enough time to even size a bet.

I cancelled my Membership 48+ hrs. in advance of the next months fee (20) coming out and went thru all the cancellation steps only to have the funds withdrawn anyway, however I am not faulting WPT at all in this, as I didn't try to contact any1 about it after the fact, and it was over the weekend. . .idk. . .whatever, but $180, ya that i would probably care about.

I've had good only good expereinces w/ ClubWPT, I think they would refund u. . .

What a racket that is huh? Once they hit 5,000 active members, they pay for all their buyins and payouts monthly (100,000k per month). That doesnt include operating expenses, but that can't be too expensive.

In my investigation, it seemed like you could just play it for free. It took some work to send in the cards to get the free months, but you can't get more +ev than free. I've had bad experiences with the play chip model free sites such as Rise Poker and NLOP, but it's not bad for certain kinds of practice. I'm not going to attest to clubWPT specifically, but I haven't seen anything to show how it would be much different other than seeming much more legitimate at least. Good luck to those that choose to play there... and may all your cards be live and your pots be monsters.

Op may have made a mistake and selected yearly instead of monthly, but sarcasm is not very helpful IMHO. I mean how would you feel if you had done something like this and instead of help, you get a page full of smart ass commments. Why not offer a solution instead or at least sympathize?

At least 3 folks offered advice. My first post in this thread told the OP to call them. You can find that IF YOU READ THE THREAD.

The fun stuff isn't directed at the OP. It's directed at WPT. Something else you can find IF YOU READ THE THREAD.
