I hate tha disturbing noise on PS

When my time is finishing up on poker stars cames that terrible noise that drives me nuts! I hate that noise! Sometimes I get frightened to lose a good hand and I come back to the computer running fast to see what are my cards and then I fold.
After forgeting about the game (when I´m doing another thing at home) cames the horrible noise again! Guys I´m having trouble when I go to sleep because of that noise!
I know that that noise is made to remember us about the game we are playing specially long hours tournaments, but I hate it even so.
What is your oppinion about that noise guys?

That noise bothers me a lot, I always leave it as low as possible hehe.

Hello! I do not like this noise, either. but I think it's important. he rescued me several times. when you are distracted for a little time and forgot about the game, this noise saves at such a moment

go to settings and do your thing.

you just need to think faster on your move! other players are waiting and when you think too long its disturbing them too, the same way like this sound disturbing you.

what to do? press "sitout", or close the client when you dont want to play and dont let others waiting for u when doing something else

It is annoying but vital sometimes we do other things while playing poker sometimes we just playing too many tables other times we might be falling asleep on ourselfs. So the sounds helps us in this case.

If you do not want it you know you can mute it right?

On my PC the Stars sound is very loud relative to everything so I turn down the volume.

This is good advice, not quite what OP was asking.

I don't mind the noise. It does its job, and I need a reminder sometimes that I'm still playing

well, you can browse to use your own sounds, which could be less annoying.

you can uncheck the attention sound.

Are you talking about the bleep to tell you that you are running out of time to play your hand?

Turn it off in settings,I don't care ...

if you have windows: right click at volume mixer icon, click at "open volume mixer" then find pokerstars icon and disable volume.

No, it does not. Restart of tournament after a break is an almost inaudible two note "dadum" that when turned to maximum is still several times less loud than the alarm sound of late action set to half volume.

These are my settings:


I can assure you that "time warning" is at least five times the volume of "end break warning" at the above settings.

Thank you guys!Now I learned how to command my warning sound.Now everything is all right.That disturbing noise will not get me again.

I leave my notebook with no sound and usually listening to a song on the stereo.

Exactly this that I would ask, if exists and how to BROWSE the sound to a less invasive. This alarm, especially at late night is so grosse, especially to who live at apartments, but are very important to we not loose a great hand while we are doing another thing at that exactly moment. I will browse my sound today. ty.
