Don't worry I think PS are brilliant, the thread title was just to make sure that the tin foil hat brigade were paying attention...

Have any of the Brits here been playing in the PS UK Summer Festival tournaments?

I played in one today with 6,462 players and went out in 39th, winning me $5.92 (woohoo!) and a ticket. However, when I go into my account and do Requests plus Tournament Tickets I am informed that I don't have any tickets - but I can buy some if I want! ;)

So does anybody know whether I have been automatically enrolled for a weekly final or something, and whether if I unsubscribe from that tournament it would give me money instead?

Actually there's no Unsubscribe button, so presumably it's not possible in this instance...

The final itself is a freeroll so has no actual value to unregister with. though tbf 1/3 of players cash with minimum cash $10 so its worth playing. I'm currently loving pokerstars atm. last August i qualified for the EPT London qualifying final which i think had like 180 players and first won an EPT package. i couldnt however play due to personal circumstances so ive had the tournament ticket ever since. Stars however let me trade it in for a place in this Freeroll. Mega Thanks to Pokerstars for this.

I think it's their high quality customer service which really makes PokerStars stand out from the other poker sites. Looking forward to this final tonight, will probably go out in about 8,000th place though! :p

I'm in too, GL to all.

Could be a long night!! (hopefully)

This has been a great promotion with loads of free cash up for grabs.

I qualified early and haven't played too many of the daily freerolls lately.

I'll certainly be playing the final this evening though.

Out in 3,620th and the last 3,000 are all paid. Ended up all in against AQ with AK, but he hit a queen...
