Like many other people who have posted before, I just want to say that intertops are a bunch of thieves. Let me start at the beginning. I opened my account back in Jan 2016 and made about 90$ playing freerolls, but when I tried to make my first withdrawal they refused saying I had to rake 50% of all freeroll winnings (so that's about 45$ in rake I owed them).

Here is the email I received:

"This email is to inform you that your payout request has been denied, due to not meeting the requirements of rule 5 of our Terms and Conditions for Intertops Poker Freerolls:

5. 50% of the Freeroll cash winnings have to be turned over as gross rake, before a player is eligible to withdraw these funds.

You accumulated freeroll winnings worth $90.57. We kindly ask you to generate $43.69 in gross rake before requesting a further withdrawal."

It pissed me off but I finally got around to it and raked 45$ playing cash games (took a fair bit of time since not alot of action on that site at night, got my bankroll to 225$ in the process). So now finally I could make my first withdrawal but yet again they refused because they said that as soon as I created the account there was a 25$ Sportsbook bonus credited (must be wagered 16 times (US$25x16=US400) on odds of 1.5 or higher in the Sportsbook, after the bonus was credited and before a withdrawal can be processed from your account). I did not know about this bonus at the time because if I would have known, I would not have played on that site since I am a poker player, not a sportsbook gambler (I have never placed a bet on a sporting event in my life).

Here is the email I received:

"This e-mail is to advise you that your withdrawal in the amount of US$150 via EcoCard has been declined due to the following reason:

• US$25 non deposit bonus must be wagered 16 times (US$25x16=US400) on odds of 1.5 or higher in the Sportsbook, after the bonus was credited and before a withdrawal can be processed from your account.

Please see an excerpt of the rules below:

Rule 2.13 states: If a customer's Intertops betting account is credited with a cash-bonus, customers shall be permitted to convert such bonus to cash for the purpose of withdrawing funds only if the bonus was rolled-over 16 times at minimum odds of 1.5 (-200) in the Sportsbook. Any free money given without requiring a deposit will have a maximum cash out of 10x the bonus given and any additional winnings derived from the said bonus will be forfeited (unless otherwise stated).

Once you have completed the wagering requirements for the non deposit bonus credited to your account, we will be more than happy to complete a withdrawal for you."

SCREW YOU INTERTOPS!! I mean this is ridiculous, a 25$ non-deposit bonus automatically credited when you create your account, which you have to roll-over 16 times before you can make any withdrawal? This, on top of the 50% in freeroll winnings you have to rake, makes this site the worst site I have played on (and I play on about 8 different networks). The worst part about this situation is that they never bothered to tell me on the numerous times when I contacted customer support to find out what my rake total was. One last thing, at the beginning I called Intertops a bunch of thieves, they are not thieves but they do hide behind alot of fine print. I am certain that if customers knew about all these requirements, we would never open an account there (except maybe US players since they have so few poker sites to choose from). Anyway, I must now figure out which bets to place in the Sportsbook and hopefully not blow my entire bankroll (not optimistic about my chances since I don't even know what I am doing).

You know there's other sites, right?

I guess you did not read my post all the way thru. In the last paragraph I stated that I play on at least 8 different poker networks and this is the only one that has annoyed me. As for Padlington's comment "Change site there are plenty about but most of them have conditions regarding the bonus", you are mistaken my friend, no other site even comes close to the bullshit of Intertops. Most sites don't even have any conditions on withdrawals other than having to make a first deposit (which is totally reasonable). A few have some minor conditions like having to rake 10% of your first deposit which again is quite reasonable. Intertops conditions and restrictions on withdrawals are absurd and offensive and in my opinion bordering on fraud.

I have managed to rake enough to withdraw my winnings but can you believe the withdrawal fees? $50 for a cheque or a bank wire... they are pretty much forcing me to use bitcoin again.

Hiya dude, I think you are in the same predicament as I am. I believe you will also have to make 400$ (25$X16 times) of bets in the Sportsbook before they will process your first withdrawal.

And that's why I hate bonuses on these sites. I like to deposit 10 dollars and cash out 100 and everything is even-Steven. But when you deposit 10 dollars and they give you 10 more for a bonus they start to ask from you to make the impossible to cash out. You must play a billion hands, you must win 10000 times an all-in on 72o and something like this :D.

Such idiotic conditions, I have not met. It's a complete scam. I'm on such sites will never play in life. No nikokogo sense. I've been on Titan bonus of $ 25. But these $ 25 simply can not be removed until you do 1250 points. Winnings on freerolls without any problems. I personally took from Titan about $ 1800. And $ 25 left at the box office.

No, not 400$ in rake, you have to place 400$ of bets in the Sportsbook. Here is the email I received:

I always research any 'bonus' money offered & very often will refuse it.
I also pretty much always make a deposit on every site I play on... however small that deposit might be as it sets up channels for making withdrawal.

Many sites require the player to rake 'x' amount/% in order to withdrawl funds from stuff like p2p transfers, & freeroll money.

I've personally never had a problem with Intertops... but its been a few years since I've requested a withdrawal.

Good thread! This might help others to avoid similiar 'or' to at least have an idea of what they might be in for.

What about to withdraw only enough money to keep 25$ (or a bit more) still on site? You would still make nice profit and you could gamble the rest on that sportsbook.

I am the same as you about accepting bonuses but in this case I did not enter any code or ask for this bonus, they simply put it in without telling me when I created the account but before I deposited. It was only after I raked 45$ (50% of my freeroll winnings) for them and tried to do a withdrawal that they told me about this bonus.

In regards to what bnasp2 said:

"What about to withdraw only enough money to keep 25$ (or a bit more) still on site? You would still make nice profit and you could gamble the rest on that sportsbook. "

Intertops will not let me do that, I cannot withdraw a single penny until I place 400$ (16X25$) of bets in the sportsbook.

This is why I say I am SOOOOO FED UP WITH INTERTOPS!!!!!

About the rake 50%... did you have made a Deposit at least once?

I made a deposit 2 days after I created the account, but I only found out about the 50% rake on freeroll winnings a couple of months later when I tried to make my first withdrawal. I am pretty sure you have to make one deposit before you can ask for a withdrawal.

Intertops = scam!!

These guys force you to make a deposit first before allowing you access onto the site. Then if you want to withdraw money they make it pretty much impossible! !
$50 fee for withdrawing!!wtf. Biggest load of bs ever.

that sucks man best of luck to you and I would probably make smaller sportsbook bets in the process to succeed at this. doing smaller bets and more bets will give you a better chance to not bust. especially if you don't bet much sports

although if u did not use the bonus it shouldn't apply to you, or if you lost using that bonus it also shouldn't apply to u if your winnings were just from freerolls and you cleared that, I would just stay strong and keep bugging them until they process it

I can understand your frustration...
BUT:
Why don't people READ the terms they agree to on signup ???

The terms are probably very similar on any other site You would switch to...
pokerstars even has a playthrough requirement for money you deposited!!!

I did not enter any code or ask for this bonus, they simply put it in without telling me when I created the account but before I deposited.

There is a GIANT button letting You choose your bonus during the signup process...
