Two days ago i held a toruney in my house! It was awesome.

26 players (friends), buyin was 15$. Startingchips was 10 000 and very small blinds in the beginning like 25-50. But it was okay, we played for fun. The tournament lasted 8 hours wich was perfect. The winner took 160$

If you have many pokerinterested friends, i really recommend this. You have alot to do as tournament director, but it's worth it!

Sounds like a lot of fun. 8 Hours seems pretty long though. How often did u raise your blinds?

Hi - Sounds like a lot of fun! Was it NL or pot limit or limit holdem? Eight hours does seem like a long time for 26 people. Online tourney blinds raise every 7 or 8 minutes. I'd think a home tourney would be longer because I'm sure there was alot of table talk and eating, etc. I hope you broke for lunch or dinner! I'd be fammished after 8 hrs. LOL

I'd love to do this in my home!

At a youth camp for church, I ran a 15 person, very time consuming.
