Blame Qhris !
At least a few of us have tried (GAG ME WITH A SPOON!) Hustler Casino. Google it for the link.
For me I have this naggy feeling that there may be games where I win a live seat at the casino, which is nearby.. But truthfully I can't find any good description of almost anything that goes on at this site.
As mentioned elsewhere the software does leave something (everything???) to be desired. If we only look at the table, it is on par with Carbon. Which means it looks better than bodog. As yet I am not sure I can even create notes on players. The T&C's seemed to stress the site was for entertainment only. The software is from Zen Entertainment. They need a new poker playing programmer.
For a fee I guess you can play the site without commercials. For me, the comsumate freeroll whore, I have to deal with the commercials...(EVEN ANGELS WILL FALL !!!???)
As far as I can tell, there is only Tourney games, both MTT's and S'nG's. The fields are small, and the payout structure is even smaller.
The play is mostly Texas Holdem, but perhaps the more interesting game is Royal Holdem. Special deck with only the 4 different Royal Flush cards (20 cards total), and 6 seats. The smallest possible hand would be 2 pair, and that won't win.
The primary other game is UFC holdem. 3 down cards to start, then 3 to the board, then a single last card. Some twisted variation on 7 stud....sort of.
They have Video Poker tourneys as well.
The screens are not sizable, and if you play multi tables, without paying for the ad free upgrade, you could be swamped with commercials running on the other tables during breaks, which seem way to frequent.
This is not a place you will feel overwhelmingly comfortable at. No creature comforts and blaring hawkers.
I have seen good players and bad players at the table, perhaps not as soft as I thought it would be.
It is a shame we Americannots are reduced to this level of gaming, but, a players gotta do what a players gotta do!.....
It is one of those subscription sites, which we may all soon be forced to play at.
If there were any other sites besides Merge, I wouldn't recommend Hustler. But since the pay as you play model seems broken, the pay to play model seems to be next.
Overall rating 7 frownies on a scale of 1-5.
