How many hands do you play a day? I try to play around 100hands a day. But if I triple my buy-in I leave. Do you guys set limits or just play till you feel like stopping?

I play until I feel myself loosinging up. After awhile A9 looks the same as AQ. That's when I know it's time to take a break.

Well it's usually when I think I'm far enough ahead for 1 day or if I'm not playing well, as soon as I reach evens I call it a day.

I dont put a time or hand amount limit on playing. As I heard Phil Ivey once say, if your playing good dont quit. If your getting cards or youve got a good read on your opponent stay in the game.

I don't put a time or limits on how long I will play. I just play and see what happens. You could start off slow and end up having a great day.

The only time I might have a time limit is when I play before work.

I play about 12+ hours a day, depending if I have anything to do that day or the next - on a free schedule I'll keep playing until I see myself making mistakes, or I just can't find a good game.

My longest session was for about 30 hours - I could have kept playing and had plenty of good tables to play at, but I still had to drive an hour and a half home and I didn't want to waste money on a hotel room.

I usually play 3 or 4 sit & go by day. I don't really know how many hands that makes but it must be around 200, I guess. I think it's the best way to improve your game. The more hands you play, the more you can improve your reads, your play, your bets, your raise, etc... I hope I'm not addicted though!! :)

The problem with me is that i do not know when to walk away from the table. I blew my whole bankroll in an hour going on tilt

At average I play for about 2 hours a day probably equals out to about 300 hands or so. Due to the fact that I play more than one table at a time.

I play religiously everyday. Depending on my mindset and winning. If i get a bad beat then I usually stop for awhile. I agree with hdnet,it is like crack and if you win,you chase the high and if you lose, you still chase it. Some days I feel like i have been smoking crack for days and I get burnt out from it!!So,i try to do other things.Usually that break doesnt last long,im back right in it again!!

it depends on how the cards are falling, if i have made some money
I usually leave after I have doubled my buy in unless I am close to making my rake requirements...but that when I usually get in trouble:mad:
and there is only so much time I can sit in front of these blasted machines
