How to fix the BOVADA anonymous players problem.

I understand and agree with trying to limit the use of HUDs. I don't use them and consider it cheating.

But we do need to have an idea who we are playing. Playing the player is part ,a big part, of the game. You can sort of do that in a tourney where the numbers don't change every table. But in ring, unless you tag every player , one can change while you play a hand at another table and you won't even know it.

The solution, and I have emailed this to support, is very simple. Keep the number system but have unique avatars for each player.

When playing live we don't know the players names but we do know them buy appearance and dress and if we play them again a week later, we remember them and have a general idea how they play. This is fair, this is poker. It's a mind game played with cards.

Bovada has turned it into pure statistics. Play by the book, forget about bluffs, floating a player or anything psychological, it's useless.

What we need is a US game owned and run by players with minimal rake, enough to cover cost and take the casinos and online operators out of the equation all together. I think Congress would allow this faster then anything else.

This is a link to my take on poker skills.

I need to know who I'm playing. It's more fun and more profitable. Don't need a HUD, just a face or avatar will do. Can't remember hundreds, but if a guy or gal kicks my butt a few times, I will remember and will know to be more careful. and vis-versa.

p.s. pre Black Friday all the data mining sites had me listed as a fish, it made me read more and change my game, I hope we get real money online poker back soon, would like to see if this guppy has changed.

They have it the way they do for a reason, Bovada caters to the recreational players and the good players that can learn and exploit tendencies faster and in less hands reap the benefits.

Dude just play another poker site. lol. You basically trying to change what Bovada is all about "ANONYMOUS." You pick the one site that's anonymous to play at, that is so funny. For real how can you be upset because Bovada is anonymous if that is their goal. Go play at Carbon or BCP they're decent US site.

You're just wasting your time contacting them honestly. The owner of Bovada changed to this system because he felt the poker sharks were eating up the winnings of his sports book players. They aren't going to change anything.

Yea I don't see them changing this anytime soon, definitely wish they did but they probably wont! As for HUDS I don't believe that they are cheating as long as they aren't making decisions for you! HUDS just pick up information that is free and open to all playing! Its a crucial element in online poker so you dont have to overload your brain trying to remember every play!

Really?!?!?!?! When playing in a live game, you have no stats on the players at the table... Bovada is like playing at a live table.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!!! As far as I am concerned I like the anonymous play. Besides If you're in a multi table tournament all you have to do is remember their number.
