Have you ever wondered how the cards on pokerstars are shuffled? James Hartigan was the headquarters of PokerStars to show us. Besides that, Lee Jones, Head of Poker Communications explains how the random number generator creates a fair shuffle when you play online poker at PokerStars.

Maybe due to my extensive background in electronics is why I laugh to myself when these online sites try to convince the world that their random generators are completely safe.
Being a human we all have this innate ability of free thought [maybe not so much in the USA…. lol]
Does anyone ever ask themselves the question on how are random generators built? Simple answer, they are designed by a whole lot of coding by human programmers, and as such, any and all programs are subject to manipulation.
Simply look around in this world at all the hacks; online break-in; theft of personal information’s; theft of secret government files……. I could go on and on but hopefully you get where this is going.
While these online random generators may just be legit, let us never be blind to the fact that manipulation is plausible.

Yea have to agree they may all be legit but that persitent prevalent thought in back your head will never really let you full trust them the math and beats truly boggle the mind sometime and I will always feel the live deck feels better even though have seen ton bad beats live where it is borderline hilarious some days but online seems can happen endlessly so that manipulation thing gotta be back people heads

You have just as much to worry about as you do with a player fixing the deck in a live game.

In other words - almost never.

RNGs are completely random.
