Can anyne please explain this? Over at the UB cash tables, and most are turbo. Does this just mean 'no sitting out, your blinds will be posted'? Thanks

Auto post blinds and the cards are dealt faster I asume. At least that's how it's done on PS. I can't stand non-turbo tables.

I believe it's both auto-post and less time to act.....

all tables should be auto-post IMO.... it's not really a decision that requires any time, you're either playing the hand or not....

annoying when the same player(s) continually use max time before posting blinds/ante

You can say that again. It drives me nuts when people don't use auto-post. It gets really annoying when there's 2-3 at a table doing it. I can't think of any good reason not to use auto-post other than just wanting to stall.

I can't stand this aswell. It's ok for the first round, mayb the second. But when there constant doing it it starts to tick me off. It's like ur in or out! CHOOSE!!!!
I tend to stay away from the turbo cash games as cash isnt my best so I like to take that extra bit of time if I have to dump in most or all of my stack :p

Thanks all. I don't use auto-post. Sometime I either 1) get called away, or 2) the guy before me leaves just before his blinds, as I was right about to as well. I don't reject the feature to stall in any way, would be silly.

Thanks all. I don't use auto-post.
I found out early in my online poker playing career that not using "auto-post" is discourteous to the rest of the table since it slows up the game.

Sometime I either 1) get called away,
The "Sit out next hand" button works for that.

or 2) the guy before me leaves just before his blinds, as I was right about to as well.
"Sit out next hand" works for that, too.

Yet unintentional stalling is what you may actually be doing.

I don't mean to sound harsh. It's just that the feature is there to simplify the game for you and to make the game more enjoyable for others. To not use this feature is a shame, imo. I hope you eventually can learn the advantages of the "auto-post" & "sit-out next hand" features. I'm pretty sure they'll make things easier for you overall.

That was a little rough but I agree people should use those because nobody likes waisting time.

I think MrSticker means that they also have a "Sit out next blind" button. So you are automatically sat out instead of paying the BB when it rolls around to you.

"Sit out next hand" can deny you from seeing a few free hands unless you are in the cutoff.

What is even more annoying is people that don't use the Auto Ante feature. This should not be optional in ante games in my humble opinion.

Dive I agree with you that sometimes it is a disadvantage to have this checked but for the msot part if you are just sitting in and have no intentions of leaving for a while this feature should be used out of respect for the other players.

Auto sitout next Blind works for me when I know I am gettign ready for a break.

Like I said, didn't mean to be harsh.

Yes, "...next blind" works best, but that is only on turbo tables. Yes, the OP is re: turbo tables, but regular tables out-number them. That means there's usually a mix when multi-tabling.

Non-turbo table = use "...next hand" UTG so the clock doesn't run when the blinds hit you. Also, saves your clock time for your later decisions if you stay.

It is both, Auto posting of your blinds and less time to act. IMO all cash tables should be like this.

I think MrSticker means that they also have a "Sit out next blind" button. So you are automatically sat out instead of paying the BB when it rolls around to you.

"Sit out next hand" can deny you from seeing a few free hands unless you are in the cutoff.
Yes this is a great feature, and even if it isn't at the site you are on, all it takes is to turn off the Auto post blind feature as soon as you decide that you are not going to pay any more blinds at that table.

A little harsh, but you're fine. Not that thin-skinned. Truth is, I don't walk away from the table waiting to hear my hand pop up for attention. I am right there, and really takes just an extra second if that - far less time than each person takes almost every hand when their turn comes every time, pretending they have a hand. lol Guess I could use the sit out next hand. There is no 'sit out next BB' button, at least not in the games I play at FT. BTW, I always, always hit the 'sit out next hand' before stepping away for a few minutes.

As far as the antes, I've never seen this as a choice. I couldn't play in a game where potentially 7 people were posting antes. They don't do this at FT either, at least not in the cash Razz games I've played.
