Hi, I need advice on playing poker for a living.
I love playing poker and would love to go pro, but I want to do it right. What advice can anyone give me. Starting out I would be happy make $10 an hour, so what bankroll would i need and which tables should I be going on? Also would anyone recommend a poker training site, such as cardrunners, has anyone on here used one of these training sites and are they any good?
Thanks everyone.

I recommend CardsChat for learning poker, there is a wealth of poker advice here and it's free, an added bonus is that you make friends with a great bunch of people too.

Search the following topics, there are a ton of threads here that are relevant:

1. BRM (bankroll management)
2. Winrates
3. HUD
4. PT3 or HEM
5. Bonus whoring (yes, that's the phrase)
6. rakeback
7. multitabling

:D None can give u an advice about how u can become a pro. U are pro when all the incomes come from poker. I u are not making enough money from poker better keep your current job untill you do.
Players that make 2k a mounth from poker have bankrolls of 3-4k or higher if i'm correct. But it is not the bankroll that makes u a pro. I know players that make 1.5-2 k a mounth but they keep they job cose they make 5-6k so they are not pros.
I know players that make under 1k a mouth and they do not have a job cose poker is their job.

And if u are asking here how to become a pro and what tables should u play ... u are far from goal right now.
